The food was descent. They brought out wontons and leafy greens with my order (as they did for everyone else) and then charged me for it. In the grand scheme of things a dollar here or there isn't a big deal, but feeling like you're being cheated or taken advantage of doesn't make me want to come back and try anything else. Especially for someone who just got here and plans on staying a while. This could've easily become a regular go to spot, but when I get cheated like this and they think they can try to pull the wool over my eyes it leaves a bad taste in my mouth...I didn't argue, I just paid, but I won't be back. And I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place. Unless they put prices on their menu maybe so you know what you're paying from the get go. I like going into a new place with a friendly attitude and an open mind, not with suspicion that they'll try to screw me for an extra couple bucks just because I'm a westerner. This kind of thing really...

I didn't feel welcomed. The first table the lady shown me had a lot of rice on the seat and the table was covered by food she just ate. I waited until they show me a place to seat and the table was dirty.
The place is really dirty and the manager speaks so loudly it hurted my ears. Some people come inside with their scooter engine one to park at the end of the restaurant. So you can breathe the gasoline while eating. Terrible.
I got a noodle soup and I didn't expect to see those cheap wheat noodles. I thought it would be rice noodle like everywhere in this city. I never eat wheat noodles as it is easy to have inflammation from it.
The soup was overly sweetened almost like a PepsiCo level and the price (45k) was way too much asked for this quality. I won't come back. Especially, after eating there, I felt overwhelmingly exhausted for many hours. There is definitely something wrong...
Read moreGreat vegan food, lots of choices but the staffs English is lacking, it seemed like only one person knew enough English to communicate and take an order. Brush up on your Vietnamese words for different food, as well what different animals are called, but rest assured everything is vegan!
There are almost only locals there and it’s not in the midst of everything, unless you stay at a hostel/hotel close by, but it’s worth the walk! They also have two adorable 🐶.
Their own 🌶-mix is potent and I think there’s some soy sauce and lemongrass in it too, so it’s not only hot but packs some other flavours as well.
There’s mostly locals here (we were to only 2 westerners at 8pm) so if you want a genuine vegan Vietnamese experience and willing to gamble on the staffs understanding of your order, this is the...
