Absolutely amazing. I will be back and I will send every single person I know to this hotel when they come to Vietnam.
Nguyễn Thanh Liêm looked after us from the moment we stepped out of our taxi to the moment we waved goodbye, like our personal concierge. He personally delivered the best service at a 5-star hotel that I have ever received in my whole life (and I’ve travelled globally for more than twenty years). We chatted over WhatsApp in English which was super easy and helpful.
He is an absolute gem, and asset to The Siesta brand. I’ve never had a hotel employee be so helpful, friendly and genuinely dedicated to our experience. He personally checked in on us every day to make sure we were okay, organised tour options for us AND organised for us to be upgraded to a huge top floor suite for our final night at the hotel - which also happened to be the final night for our whole holiday. We felt like movie-stars with the beautiful terrace balcony. I will note this room is definitely more noisy than the others - but this was nothing compared to our stay in Nha Trang.
Liêm and the entire team at The Siesta Saigon were superb - from the doormen helping me cross the busy street, to the smiling faces in the lift, excellent bartenders, waiters and waitresses, delectable restaurant, gourmet room service, stunning rooftop cocktail bar, infinity pool and more.
The hotel is brand new, with modern facilities, small but luxe rooms, lush eco-friendly toiletries, a pillow menu and mini bar with beer and soft drink. After a stressful day travelling internationally and 40 degree heat - walking in to The Siesta was a breath of fresh air. I felt like I could finally exhale, drop my shoulders and relax.
We had come from a horrific stay at a “5 star” hotel in Nha Trang (should have been rated 3 stars max), that had me in tears every day, so angry at myself for being conned by what must have been fake reviews on reputable websites. Thank god this was not the case with Siesta.
When we walked in to The Siesta, sat down in the opulent air conditioned lobby and sipped an artisan ice cold welcome drink, I said to my husband: “Now THIS is a FIVE STAR hotel!!!! Thank goddddddd”.
My husband had a massage at the in-house spa while I enjoyed cocktails at the rooftop bar, he said he felt like he was walking on a cloud when he left. The breaky was yum, with heaps of western and Asian options, it’s not a huge hotel with thousands of people and towering buffets, but honestly that’s a good thing. They made a great iced latte every morning.
My only tiny items for improvement would be the air conditioning in the rooms needs more power, or ceiling fans installed. As a super sweaty person on the best of days, in forty degree heat I would have liked a slightly more powerful fan and cooler setting - but understand this is set at a hotel level for sustainability - and when it’s 40 degrees Celsius outside there’s only so hard the poor aircon can pump! If reading this review: I strongly suggest management invest money in extra air-conditioning and bedroom soundproofing as these are the two critical items for tourists wanting comfort. By no means was it bad at all - I was extremely comfortable the whole time - just sometimes prefer to have a bit more cool air flow.
Overall, booking the Siesta Premium Saigon for the last two nights of our holiday was the best decision I made for our whole Vietnam trip. I wish we stayed longer. You won’t...
Read moreI'm not one to normally write a review online, but I felt it would be remiss of me not to share the very positive experience I had staying at La Siesta hotel in Siagon.
Upon entering the hotel, we were served complimentary refreshments while we waited to be checked in and our bags brought to the room. This included a moist towelette, some fresh fruit, water and a refreshing mocktail - all of which was very welcomed as we had just arrived after 17 hours of travelling (Dublin to Siagon).
Throughout our stay, we felt the staff were extremely attentive. Everyone was super polite and friendly, and they looked after our every need. This included booking tours and taxis for us as well as advising us on where we should go and what we should see. I was very impressed with this service. They truly went above and beyond my expectations as they provided hints and tips for us along the way.
Every morning, we would go to the Cloud 9 dinning room for breakfast. Now, when I say they had everything, I mean everything. There was a hugh variety of food to suit all palates. I honestly don't think I've been in a hotel that had a better spread. This included traditional Vietnamese food as well as intercontinental food. The cured meats and sushi were my favourite. I was also partial to the fresh fruit and pastries.
The bedrooms in the hotel were quite spacious for their location. I have travelled to many major cities before, and I have found the more central the location, the smaller the rooms are, but I felt our room was a nice size for the 5 days we stayed in Siagon. On the subject of the rooms, there were very clean and they had excellent AC. Fresh towels and blankets were provided on request, and the beds were made up everyday and the room was tidied while we explored the city.
The hotel also provides a car service. We availed of this service to and from the airport as it took away any of the stresses it can cause while travelling. I would recommend using this. Both trips were very positive.
Finally, upon our departure, the staff waved us off and gave us a very nice trinket to say thank you for staying with them. I thought this was a really nice touch because at this stage we had already had a great experience of the hotel, so it really wasn't necessary but very considerate, nonetheless.
All and all, we had a great experience staying in this hotel. The management should be extremely proud of the culture and standards they have set. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I ever return to Siagon, and I would definitely recommend this hotel...

I recently spent four wonderful days at La Siesta Hotel, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their professionalism, attentiveness, and dedication. Every need I had was met with meticulous care and a friendly smile.
Front Desk & Doorman The front desk team deserves special praise for their warm and welcoming demeanor. They were always available, handling everything with efficiency and professionalism. The doorman was also fantastic, always ready to greet me with a smile and open the door before I could even reach it, making each return to the hotel feel personal and inviting.
Behind the Scenes I must give equal credit to the staff behind the scenes, whose efforts were equally important in making my stay memorable. The housekeeping team kept my room spotless, ensuring everything was clean, tidy, and well-kept throughout my stay. Their attention to detail was impeccable and made me feel truly cared for. The kitchen staff also did an excellent job preparing fresh and delicious meals daily, particularly during breakfast.
Breakfast Experience The breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel offered an amazing selection of international dishes along with local Vietnamese specialties. From green mango salad to ratatouille, the variety of salads was impressive, alongside noodles like pho. What really stood out was the personal touch from the breakfast staff. The waitresses remembered my coffee preferences from the very first day, making sure I was served exactly what I liked each morning, whether it was a café latte or rich Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk.
Location The hotel’s location is ideal, within walking distance to local markets and charming restaurants. It made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.
Special Thanks to Liêm I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Liêm, whose exceptional service truly stood out. His attention to detail and dedication made me feel incredibly comfortable and ensured that all my needs were met without hesitation.
