This place is just a block away from Bui Vien Walking Street. You can easily find it on Google Maps — it’ll guide you through a little alley that leads right into the center of Bui Vien. Even though Bui Vien’s nightlife is absolute chaos, the hotel itself is super quiet, which is such a nice contrast.

The location is honestly amazing — right in the heart of District 1, just about 5 minutes from Ben Thanh Market. Plus, the hotel is on Tran Hung Dao street, which is one of the rare two-way streets in the center — most other streets are one-way and always jammed. It’s super convenient for getting around. Even during the preparation for the national commemoration ceremony for 30/4 (50th anniversary of liberation and reunification) with parades and roadblocks everywhere, Tran Hung Dao stayed open — it’s just next to the blocked zones, not inside them, so moving around was still easy.

Another nice thing: the hotel’s close to a big road, so it's really easy to catch a taxi or Grab. But because it’s tucked inside a small alley, it’s still quiet and peaceful enough for resting.

I booked a balcony room for around 750k VND per night. The price was a little higher than usual since big events happening, but honestly, considering the location, I still felt it was worth it. The room itself was clean and comfy, no complaints there.

Service and staff were also excellent. Very attentive. I arrived late (around 6 PM) without informing them in advance, but when I checked in, they had already turned on the air conditioner and left the room key card inside for me. One night, they forgot to leave the free water bottles in the room, and even when I called reception at 2 AM to ask for them, they immediately supported without any issues. The hotel is also very flexible with timing — you can come and go anytime, there's always staff on duty 24/7. They also hold your luggage after checkout, which is super convenient (but they don’t give you any ticket or proof, so make sure to snap a photo and avoid leaving anything valuable, just in case).

Overall, everything was great — the only downside was the bathroom. The bathroom is tiny. 😂 You can barely sit on the toilet because the sink is squeezed right next to it. I’m a Vietnamese girl and still found it cramped, so I can imagine it’d be even harder for taller foreigners. The sink faucet is confusing — it looks like you’re supposed to twist it, but actually, you have to lift it up to turn on the water, which was really not intuitive. I had to call the front desk to ask how to use it. The shower was also tricky — adjusting the temperature felt like slow motion: you turn it, but it takes a few minutes for the water to actually change, which was a bit annoying.

All in all, with that one small bathroom issue aside, everything else was super nice. I think a solid 4/5...

Our stay was so terrible we had to cut it short and leave early. We had booked for 2 nights. On the first night, we arrived late at night, past midnight, and wanted to shower after our travel. There was no hot water, which we wrongly assumed was just due to it having run out as it was late at night, so we slept. In the morning, we tried to have a hot shower, only to have no hot water. They sent a maintenance man up, who said he fixed it, but there was still no hot water. We went down to reception, who said our room's hot water was broken and there was no way to fix it. They offered us an alternate room, but this room only had a queen bed - we had specifically booked a room with twin beds as we are not comfortable sharing a bed. They told us they had no other twin rooms available but refused to let us cancel the second night. After wasting the better part of an hour arguing (which we wanted to spend exploring the city), they said they would cancel the second night but charged us the full amount for the first night, saying it was our fault for not telling them at 12:30am after a day of travel that our hot water was broken (which we didn't even appreciate at the time!).

In addition to the hot water issue, our sheets were visibly dirty/stained and smelt - we are unsure whether they were actually washed. There was multiple shards of glass on the ground. The shower head is completely broken and as such, anyone of an average height will not be able to use it. The room was smaller than it seemed in pictures.

Overall, the customer service was terrible, the room was disgraceful and I would not...

We stayed here for New Years and it’s an excellent location with bars just on the next road, or a minute walk through the alley. Also close to shops and restaurants.

Nice, modern and clean rooms, but the bathroom is a bit small. Smart TV and internet worked perfectly. Nice and friendly staff, always greeted with a hello and smile. Good value for the price!

Unfortunately for our first night our room wasn’t available due to previous guests having an accident and the shower glass door smashed through. We were put in another room across the road and it wasn’t the best, it stank, was very loud all night and the worst night sleep we’d had during our trip. However, we understand that accidents happen and were thankful for not having to rearrange our stay for the night so last minute. This wasn’t ideal but the overall stay with the hotel afterwards...

Lovely little hotel right in the middle of the action. Very convenient for any sights in the heart of Saigon and comparably quiet (for Saigon). Never forget earplugs in any hotel...you WILL hear other people's noises, you WILL hear the sounds of the other 9 million people in the city.... that's just what it is. I have had wonderful sleeps here with earplugs. Good and strong AC. Nice bathroom with unlimited hot water. Very very comfortable bed with firm mattress and substantial covers. Very friendly staff. Be aware: most rooms don't have windows to the outside, only the ones with balcony actually have outside windows. Balcony is very small, reminded me a bit of old buildings in Paris, France. If I ever come back to Saigon I'll stay here again.
