Homeland Hotel Hue — Hotel in Hue City

My husband and I stayed here overnight to continue with a trip to the caves.||Firstly .... the staff are very sweet and polite and the toilet was clean !||Secondly....I read TripAdvisor a lot and laugh at the nit picking some people do....||HOWEVER....the rooms ....I have no idea where these pic come from but they are NOT from the rooms we saw.||The first room....80 steps up ( no lift ) we found holes in pillow case, no Handel’s on the wardrobe ( not that I would put my clothes in in them,, grubby ) rips in the chairs, just incredibly basic. My husband ‘upgraded’ to ‘delux’ !! Roughly 100 steps up, The room was much the same, holes in bedding, washed sheets but stained, ripped Chairs etc. I have never been in a hotel room room like it !|| We went for a drink and came home to find a cockroach in the bathroom, I expect to find a cockroach here and there but when it scuttled off under the bath ( which wasn’t fitted and had 2inch gaps all around it ) back to his mates I decided that was enough for me and we checked out. I’m not a fussy person and have never checked out early but this hotel was NOT as described.||I’m guessing for backpackers this is ok but for a 50 year old couple this was NOT ok, the reviews are not...

Ok budget hotel, but nothing more.. Room is kind of dirty, and when i was going to toilet at night, cochroaches was having a great time at bathroom floor. Hiding in the gap between bathtub and wall in daytime... some of staff was service minded, but one girl was quite rude. After a good shower and i was dressed and ready for dinner, age 28 if it matter. She said that my face looked so old and tired so she was suprised i did not stay at home. Despite bad words you did not make my day bad... Construction work is done from 09.00 at this building, thats why you get a discount. This is not a "star" hotel by...

I stayed here with my mother. Hotel rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I rented a very sound and comfortable motorcycle from the hotel for a half day which was cheaper. The staff booked a bus with no drama. I got a great eating recommendation. The only thing worth mentioning is lack of elevator, which is a non-issue for me. I would gladly stay again. I wish I could have stayed...
