European prices. Understandable since they bring you a fruit platter and snacks for "free". I actually liked it at first. I thought that for all the stuff they bring you, it's ok to be a bit more expensive as a lounge-bar. I had two cocktails and the staff was "friendly". There were two more tables, one solo guy having a beer and two girls having one beer each. The next day I went back at an earlier time, place was empty, and I asked if I can just have a beer or two. They said okay but they literally didnt want me to drink beer, by telling me it's too expensive etc and I said it's fine I dont mind the price I just didn't feel like cocktails. They probably thought "ohh this guy is gonna stay here for long with just beer". Guys, the place was empty, if it would be full I would understand that thought too. They pushed me with their "friendliness" to drink faster and to buy more, recommending me cocktails, which I didn't see happening to the other customers the day before. I honestly would have bought some more but only when I would want to. I was alone there, I cannot buy the whole bar. They also don't let you enjoy your drinks, they come and talk to you all the time because they want you to "have a good time" but when they do so they point out to your drink that it's not finished yet or that you should get more. I honestly had a good time in the beginning (that's why I went back in the first place) until they behaved like that. So, if you are not going to drink quickly a lot of cocktails (not beer), then I don't...
Read moreI don't get the other reviews. I am not sure if we are on the same wave length.
Yes, if you want free stuff, a small fruit platter, a green shot of something, some kids' lollipops, and a pack of cheesy crackers, go for it.
I preferred a reasonably priced beer. It was 4x price of other places (100k VND). Same beer 30m away in another restaurant (25k VND).
Normally, I would walk straight out, but I sort of felt slightly conned and obligated to order the beer having been given all this free stuff that I didn't want.
Don't get me wrong, it's cheap by western standards. But I prefer to patronise a bar for it's atmosphere and value for money rather than free gifts.
Also, there is also no way the reviews for pricing for this bar are correct - the cheapest drink is 100k VND. Our bill was 200k VND and we left after the first drink.
Aside from that, it was a nice place, lots of greenery and shade, and plenty of stonework with cool music. Service was good if bizarre as they couldn't understand we didn't want lollipops or...
Read moreIt’s a cool decorated place to chill and play a game of pool on a really dodgy table, but apart from that, it’s an over priced bar.
They also have a cat on a 1ft chain, crying because it probably needs to eat or use the toilet. It’s also surrounded by flies. There is a kitten too that clearly has mange and fleas.
They’re also super forceful with ‘free shots’ and ‘free water to takeaway’ which in theory is a nice gesture however after we said no due to the common sense of all the alcohol poisoning and also plain water is bad for you compared to mineral they were forceful and tried multiple times. No should mean no.
Also, when we just wanted to order a soft drink, which was 80 K compared to a standard 20k. we were convinced to get more expensive drinks.
Some of the stuff genuinely nice, but there is one male that I would not trust.
So definitely go ahead if you like animal abuse and...
