Sapa Chill Retreat — Hotel in Sa Pa Ward

If I could give this place 10 Stars, I would. This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. Words cannot describe how amazing our stay was at this property. We stayed in a room were newly built with brand new everything - bedding, furniture, fixtures, etc. The beds were super cozy for our family of 4. We chose the quad room which was so comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was delicious each day with choices of Chicken Pho, Pancakes or Breakfast sandwiches. Location was nestled up on a hill with gorgeous views and a short walk from the city center, close to everything you need (restaurants, stores, massage and more). Above all else, the staff was just beyond amazing. Kim Chi went above and beyond in servicing our family. We were able to pay small fee to drop off and have clothes laundered same day. She helped us book car service and tours/activities for our family with discounts. (Book all your needs with her - Just get her what's app and plan out what you want at the convenience of texting or even in person) She went and researched itineraries and timetables of trains for our next destination as well, also confirming a pickup from Hanoi to our next city after arrival. Disappointing… we had no room service during our whole stay and had to ask for it multiple times, and the room was nit properly cleaned on arrival. The entrance is very hard to find and NOT accessible with large luggage or for elderly people. The rooms are fairly new but still room for approvement. The room was not isolated, so it is very cold and loud noises in there from all the karaoke, barking dogs and staff preparing breakfast or guests wandering around the property. One air conditioner was not enough too heat up the room…

The included breakfast was horrible with very few options and the staff coughing on the food. No taste and only the bare minimum was provided. Ate there once and definitely had enough!

The staff couldn‘t speak any english and didn‘t recommend anything for Sapa, they only helped with the suitcases and that‘s it.

At least the location was very central.

I wouldn‘t recommend this hotel and will definitely not come back...

It is the best experience. The service is amazing, best of the best. I was devastated as I arrived at 6 in the morning at another hotel and can't check in because they are fully booked. They helpfully recommend this hotel to me. Then the owner came and pick me up, he even bring my luggage with his motorbike! He also give me a lot of tips to do things at Sa Pa. At the check out, he called the bus service to make sure everything and wait with me until the shuttle came.

The rooms is spacious and comfy. It functions well, but there is still some construction in the area there. I was the only guest, it turned out the hotel was not open for public and not fully finished yet. But the owner helpfully let me rent it.

The location is great, it is near the city center, you can walk there.

The price is also great.

Overall, it was a great experience and i will definitely come back here if I go to...
