The entire dinner experience has been the worst hospitality experience we have had in our entire trip to Vietnam. There is this lady not sure whether she was the owner or the manager of the restaurant but she was by far one of the rudest servers we have ever met. Ever since we got in she was loudly mumbling and ranting by herself banging things on the table next to us. Then once we ordered and my partner asked her for cutlery as she was standing close to the table she turned back and screamed at him "WHAT IS IT" leaving us in shock.. Overall their service is way below average and rude.. Their focus is only on big groups that come via agents as they did everything to please them for the others they don't absolutely care. Ridiculous in one word, this restaurant should be banned by all and avoided at all cost because these are those incidents that leave a bad taste about an entire cultural experience. Had she embraced even a bit of the indian culture and values while running an "indian restaurant" she would have definitely learnt some manners.. Having said the above the food is also...
Read moreWent to the Ganesh in Phong Nha with high hopes that this restaurant would be the same. The food was very good and the naan size is good value for money. This experience however was tarnished by the arrogant nature manager (we assume). We ordered 3 garlic and chilli naan and were then presented with 3 garlic and cheese naans for an additional 75K. For attempted to resolve this at the time but the manager said the indifference in naan was fine at no extra cost. Then when we had the bill, to our surprise the manager had left on the additional cost and then was very rude when we tried to change the difference. On top of that when once we had paid we received the wrong amount of change back! The manager had sent someone else to deal with us at this point who spoke very little English. The manager didn’t want anything to do with us. So we just left. Would recommend Ganesh but not...
