I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Dzao House, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern and traditional Vietnamese decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! The pho was rich and flavorful, with tender slices of beef and aromatic broth that warmed my soul. The fresh spring rolls were perfectly rolled, with just the right balance of shrimp, herbs, and crunch. I also tried the hotpot and it was bursting with flavor on the inside – definitely a standout dish.
The quality of ingredients was top-notch, and you could really taste the authenticity in every bite. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.
I highly recommend Red Dzao House to anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned fan of Vietnamese food, you're in...
Read moreCame here twice for the food. Returned for the second time as food is good and atmosphere and staff are great from my first experience. Second time however, was subpar, as they had a huge tour group for dinner. We were warned there will be a longer waiting time but we didn’t know it will be more than an hour of wait. If we had known that it will take this long, we would have tried other places, as our food only came after the entire group left. (FYI, We were seated outdoors as we came as walk-in and the cold weather wasn’t friendly to us)
Was going to give a 3 star review, but edited to 4 as waitress Kim and the manager came to do service recovery, offering their apologies, free drink and a free plate of fruits. Not sure if it’s cos they heard we were going to write a review but I will give the benefit of the doubt.
Long story short. Food is good, atmosphere is great but do make a reservation before you come, as you may have to wait very long otherwise. Order your food humbly as the portions...
Read moreNice outdoor seating area, hosts huge tour groups so may be hard to get a seat during peak hours. Saw a tourist literally begging for a seat as it was his “last night” so might have expected too much
Cơm Lam (Bamboo Rice): Colored sticky rice without flavor. Middle is sticky and soft, outer layer is crispy. Served with salty peanut dip. Pretty additive!
Thịt Lợn Cắp Nách (Armpit Pork): Named due to method of transportation (under the arms), thankfully nothing to do with its flavor. We tried the grilled version (w galangal) and it had a nice flavor but was pretty dry and hence tough to chew. This restaurant serves it with Cơm Lam, so you can try both specialities within 1 dish. We asked if this came with any staples before we ordered the separate Cơm Lam, so imagine our dismay when this already came with it…
Cá Hỏi Sót Pho Mai (Sapa Salmon w Cheese): Was kind of fishy and cheese was...
