SCAM! Conning the Tourists! My 80yo Mother had $50 for a souvenir and lunch. She took an item from the $24 displayed sign. She paid with a $50 and did not get change. The cashier pointed at the tag on the item that says $50. My said said, i cannot afford it then! can i please have my money back? THE ITEM HAD NOT LEFT THE CASHIER'S TABLE. MY MUM HAD NOT HAD POSETION OF THE ITEM YET. The cashier said 'No'. You just bought it and we cannot refund money. The 20 yo Manager was laughing of the situation. She thought it was very funny ripping off an 80 yo lady. Disgraceful for an Australian Shop. This is the shop in Queen street mall Brisbane. Worst customer service in Australia... Put that one on a souvenir manager! I have reported them to the ACCC. Which apparently the manager knows it all about.
I just got a reply from Brodie...... He did not even understand my mum is a tourist, she has left the country with a very bad experience because You and your Business... Great business concept. Con the tourist, they wont return to exchange...

Went there on the 28/12/2023 day at around 5.30-6.00 pm to get a refund on some tshirts that we bought (not all of the items we got) because our cousins sizing changed and they’re now wearing adult sizing. The employee we first asked said they don’t do refunds? When we said everything can be refunded if unused with receipt in Australia they asked for their superior. They told us they could give us an exchange,after we told them about the same refund policy,they brought out A REFUND BOOK. They were straight up lying to our faces. So I do not recommend this specific store at all! They thought we were tourists and tried fooling us. Or didn’t want to do their jobs. Absolutely unacceptable and very unprofessional behaviour. Read moreSpent a lot of money in this shop over a few days. The last purchase I did I spent around $63 and I paid by card as usual… the payment said approved and went out of my bank. Yet the cashier didn’t believe me and I was told the payment didn’t go through and was made to pay again before leaving the shop with my items… when I told them the payment had gone from my bank I was told it would bounce back in and to pay again and wait a few days. Waited a few days and both payments had been taken and cleared from my bank. I emailed the shop, and had a response from the cashier wanting to contact the bank as they still didn’t believe me.
