Just visited the ACMI theatre whilst on a year 12 exam revision lecture, I made the poor mistake of purchasing an (overpriced) toasted sandwich, I was only given a 10 minute break to eat my food for the entirety of the day. After trying to renter the theatre I was told no hot food was allowed so I started to eat my toastie outside, the usher(a lady with very short red hair) stood watching me the entire time, feeling under pressure I decided to only eat half and save the rest for later. The lady then rudely told me I wasnât able to do that and told me to throw it in the bin, disappointed in my waste of sandwich I threw it out and proceeded to go back to the theatre when I was stoped by the most unnecessary comment âI didnât tell you to buy foodâ followed by âyou can stop giving me attitudeâ I was disappointed yes but never showed her attitude, I had no problem with this lady up until this point. I replied âIâm not giving you attitudeâ and in response she mockingly laughed at me, I then tried to explain how I was upset that our class didnât get time to eat and she interrupted me with a very loud, rude âExcuse me!â Being quite upset and shocked at this experience I sat down and she proceeded to glare at me from afar. I will not be coming back here ever again and this lady needs a stern talking to on how to treat customers especially when they may be inconvenienced, she was highly unprofessional and...
