We invested heavily in multiple Gaggenau appliances through their agent, Winning Appliances, under the impression we were buying into top-tier quality and service.
Unfortunately, the experience from day one has been a complete letdown.
Winning Appliances clearly had little understanding of the Gaggenau rangeâthey repeatedly ordered incorrect parts for the original install and provided conflicting information about the products. This level of confusion and incompetence set the tone for everything that followed.
Fast-forward just 2.5 years after installation, our $7,000+ oven completely failed. After waiting for a repair, it broke again just two months later. At this point, itâs clear that the reliability of Gaggenau products is nowhere near what you'd expect at this price point.
To make matters worse, Gaggenauâs service department has been uncooperative and inflexible when it comes to arranging repairs. They suggested an alternate service company to speed things upâbut here we are, three weeks later, and weâre still waiting just to be given a repair date.
Adding insult to injury, theyâre talking about replacing the same part that was just replaced, which raises serious doubts about whether they even understand the root issue.
Gaggenau presents itself as a premium brand, but the reality has been anything but. Between the poor service, unreliable products, and unresponsive support, I would strongly caution anyone considering Gaggenau: donât botherâthis brand is simply not...
Read moreI can't believe such a high-end brand would die within a year of use. We use the gas cooktop every day and, after approximately 40 minutes of waiting on the phone, we were told we need to wait for a part (luckily they have it in stock in Australia; otherwise, who knows how long we'd have to wait?) for a week to replace it. Basically, they just said sorry oops and walked away. đ€Ș
UPDATE Just yesterday, on 19/04/2024, our cooktop, which had its motherboard replaced (forgive me, I can't remember how much it cost, but I remember it was definitely expensive), broke again! Yes, a top-brand cooktop, and it's not working again. It's simply unresponsive. I don't know how to fix it. Wish me luck. I hope my other two ovens, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee machine don't have any more problems.I feel like this is no longer an isolated incident. If it had happened just once, I might have chalked it up to bad luck. But this Gaggenau brand is really not reliable, and definitely not worth spending so much money on. Furthermore, I remembered that one of my Gaggenau range hoods needs two new grease filters. Despite being a part shared with brands like Bosch, these two filters cost me around $700. It makes me wonder, what kind of high-tech product warrants such a high price? It's really not worth it, perhaps just because we live on an island far from other major civilizations. Once again I would 100% not recommend this brand to anyone who wish to have less hassle. Gaggenau sucks....
Read moreSteer clear of Gaggenau. We recently renovated our house and purchased a host of Gaggenau appliances because they were supposedly âtop of the lineâ. Our $10k steam oven was faulty on arrival. After two visits from Gaggenau technicians the issue was still not resolved so I requested a replacement which we finally received after over a month of very challenging interactions with Gaggenau. Now our replacement oven is non-functioning as well! We have never had so many problems with other much less pricey brands so I am seriously questioning how Gaggenau gained its reputation as a premium brand. Furthermore, the technician who installed the second steam oven badly scratched our also brand-new gaggenau warming tray that sits beneath and despite informing Gaggenau that this has happened, we have received no response. If there is anyway we can return all our appliances for a refund I would do so in a heart beat as both the appliances and service have been extremely...
