My girlfriend and I enjoyed a couple of fantastic tours with the Urban Adventures team. On one of the trips, we went around some of Kyoto’s most famous temples and the Gion District. Our tour guide Miyake was extremely knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions very well.

The tour followed a great route that was broken up by several train journeys - which was nice as it was extremely hot. The route was always picturesque and interesting, following streets that you definitely would have missed without a guide.

Train tickets were provided to us by the tour guide which made this very easy - as well as some delicious cookies towards the end of the tour.

The backstreets of the Gion District district were fascinating and we got to see the Geisha houses up close. It never felt rushed or like it was moving too quickly to be able to enjoy the destinations. A must do when...

We had a fantastic morning with Kellie, and I'd highly recommend her tours. It did genuinely feel like spending a few hours with a friend who is passionate about their home town. We learnt so much about Melbourne, got so many hints and tips about what to do with our remaining time in the city and cafes and places to look out for.
