While searching for quality sea moss & place to buy, I found purple one from Nature’s Farmer (NF) and came across Moses and Co. Since the store was in market & had other items I wanted, I chose to buy it there instead of NF website. Due to work I was only able to arrive just before closing, therefore quickly bought sea moss to avoid keeping the staff waiting. Initially I liked it, but after using it 4-5 times I noticed a lump on my neck. Since I hadn’t taken any other supplements and rarely experience reactions, I stopped immediately and consulted my doctor. This led to multiple tests including an ultrasound, bloodwork, and a CT scan, making the situation very concerning. Unable to continue using it, I called the store about a refund. Kim was helpful & suggested also checking the expiry date, which I hadn’t thought to do since I had just purchased it. I then contacted NF, who advised me to speak with Omer, saying they had discussed it with him. My conversations with Kim & NF were pleasant /professional. Unfortunately, my experience with Omer was entirely different. He made several rude remarks which were extremely offensive, and he said them without any hesitation which I found shocking, distasteful, not to mention unprofessional. I sent him screenshots of bank statements which clearly showed merchant name, date, cost, time. Omer said he can only refund part of the bill unless I send him original one. Since I couldn’t find original receipt, I requested him to check purchase history for breakdown of cost - as time/date of purchase was in screenshot I had already sent. He refused saying he doesn’t want to go through ‘100s & 100s’ of purchases. Since it was closing time & there were only few customers left, it was confusing why he would have to go through so many especially when screenshot clearly shows time and date. I also mentioned that I wasn't able to locate expiry label, as only glue residue was remaining. He very rudely replied stating I would have used it after it got expired or removed label myself. This was absurd!?! Why would I risk my health eating an expired item after paying for it. What could I possibly gain by removing an expiry date which is something I would need to be on bottle to help me keep track of dates. Things escalated when he said I needed to send a photo of myself so he could compare it to store footage, implying dishonesty. I have never been so offended in my life!!! What right does he have to ask for a customers photo? Who says something like that, especially in 21st century? He also remarked that I probably bought from the store because it was cheaper than buying directly from NF. Which was incorrect and even if it was true, does a customer need his approval to decide where to shop??? I refused to send any photo and when I called him out on his remarks, he denied making them. At one point, I even asked if he was the owner, given his obnoxious behavior. He said he was from customer service and that ‘he’s trying to compose himself’ which was ironic given HIS attitude & absolute JOKE! Then I told him if he ‘IS’ from customer service & was able to do bit of ‘customer service’ then he will be able to see breakdown of total cost. (Not to mention avoiding whole unpleasant conversation). I also said by time I paid there were only 1-2 people left so there shouldn’t be ‘100s & 100s’ of transactions. Eventually, he pulled up the cost breakdown and smugly stated that I should apologize to him because I had also purchased a small packet of lentils, which I hadn’t mentioned. His demand was laughable. I had grabbed the lentils while rushing to the counter just before closing, and after everything, he expected an apology—for forgetting $4.95 item? After such an unprofessional experience, I found it ironic that the store promotes itself as supporting the local community and valuing customer interactions. This was simply my experience as a customer trying to support a small business, only to walk away feeling disrespected, disgusted, and appalled.
p.s. Lentils seem to be having expiry date...
Read moreWe went in to buy a few tubs of Açai purée from Brazil on a beautiful Sunday, a few weeks ago. We love the beautiful health products available here and of course, we love all the sales people who ran the shop that day, especially that middle age, shoulder length hair lady who helped us with the check out for our two Açai tubs, over the counter.
However, WE as spiritual workers who are ultra sensitive and can pick up energy quickly. WE could feel so much fear of catching covid in her eyes. WE try to make eye contact with her to exchange that genuine, heartfelt kindness with her but she was too afraid to even look at us, reaching out with one hand with the EFPOS machine and head turning sideway.
WE like to say that WE love her like our aunt, and wish her Good Health, Peace, Love deep down on her soul so that Fear in her mind could dissipate. No health products can help if our minds and hearts are blocked and plagued with FEAR (from Media). WE suggest that she could mediate with crystals like Black Tourmaline, Rose Quartz, Labradorite and turn off the TV.
WE Love you all and WE wish you all more consciousness. Choose Love ( over Fear). Love 💓...

This morning (Easter Saturday) in your Market shop as I took an item to the desk for payment one of the staff emerged from the back room still chewing a mouthful of food , licking the remains from her fingers.
I declined to be served by her advising her that she was clearly in breach of local Council health by laws that require staff post toilet or food breaks to wash their hands. I suggested that in this time of Covid we all need to take extra care.
A light reminder to be met with fulsome sarcasm advising me that Melbourne did NOT have COVID cases. I did not respond by pointing out that we had some 330 deaths in Melbourne no more than 9 months ago.
The staff member clearly needs a refresher in service management and in the local health by laws.
I could have made a formal complaint to Council which would have meant a mandatory inspection by council officers of your shop and a review of your health and your...
