We have wondered about this place for a while and hesitated coming here due to reviews. We ordered potato cakes, wanted scallops but they didn't look fresh so we didn't get anything else. Man behind the counter was nice, so was the fish. Didn't try any chips but the potato cakes were awesome! Very crispy and yum. However I got really put off by the handling of the products with hands in between using a grotty register. Like tongs or maybe even just washing hands would be better for a customer to see.. My mother and I are extremely happy with the quality of the food, & service here. Battered flake is always fresh inside and crispy on the outside. Same story with the chips. In the last 6 months since I started coming here, the food has never been soggy, off colored, or not fresh.
