As a Sydney local I go there at least once a week, the selection and varieties of seafood & quality are unsurpassed. Why would you buy thawed frozen and often farmed seafood from a supermarket ? Have you read the health issues about farmed seafood ??? For those criticising the place you must realise it is a tourist attraction, so go on week days if you don't like a few people, but at least embrace what you have locally.
