Another excellent vessel based at the National Maritime Museum. The HMAS Vampire is definitely worth inspecting & there is plenty of access to internal & external areas . After boarding the HMAS Onslow I found this ship to be obviously far more spacious !! The HMAS Vampire Destroyer is beautifully preserved and the tour guides are super helpful . The HMAS Advance was moored close by but not accessible last Sunday . I’ll inspect on my next visit & provide an update on the Attack -class patrol boat that served 20 years of service between 1968-1988 predominantly in the northern to equatorial seas.

Docked in the beautiful Darling Harbour, the HMAS Vampire is a must visit for enthusiasts of such things. It wasn't too busy when I visited but I should imagine on a busy day it'd be even more cramped that it was. Really interesting, lots of info, volunteers around to ask questions if needed. I'd highly recommend visiting the Maritime Museum also.

Purchased the HMAS x EMC Audamus experience and it was awesome. Dinner was prepared by Rising Sun Workshop which was a little cold since it was the coldest winter night in Sydney, but the overall vibe was very nice. Highly recommend if this pops up again, very unique experience

Ship is being maintained very well. Enjoyed my self guided tour. Museum staff informed me ships and Submarine were open everyday for visitors during the week. I had arrived early and security told me ship and submarine were only available for tours during the weekends. Times were also a little confusing since the museum evidently opens at 10 while the vessels open at 10:30 AM. Definitely...
