The Darling Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sydney

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! My partner and I Ordered just after 2am our ETA was 3:13am we missed a called and attempted to call the delivery guy a number of times the phone just kept going to voicemail, we then called the restaurant the worker of the restaurant was very rude to us and just kept saying your pizza is on the way we then waited another 5 minutes outside our house and still no sign of the delivery guy I checked my Menulog account and it said my pizza was DELIVERED! I immediately called the restaurant back but no answer it was saying “please call back during business hours” the restaurant is now closed! I kept trying to contact the delivery guy, finally I got through to him and he said his busy at the moment delivering other pizza’s that mine had already been delivered to number 35 he left it outside he said he then hung up and I attempted to call back atleast 5 times before I got through to him again and this time he was very very rude towards me I told him I was going to report the restaurant and he told me to do whatever I want was just very rude it’s now 4am my partner has walked our whole street went and check #35 & #135 in our street because the delivery guy did not give us any other information to help us find our food. My partner then walks up the lane way to find our pizzas 200 metres from our home address in the pouring rain with cats running away from it the boxes squished and soggy wet. My partner opened the pizza box and huge cockroaches ran out. We’re absolutely disgusted with there customer service, we have taken pics & will be taking this further! We just wasted $38 on food we found an hour after our ETA in a lane way in a state I wouldn’t even feed...

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! The WORST experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant. We ordered food, the food was delivered to the wrong house and the wrong person; when we called the delivery driver they said that we picked it up from him when we didn’t. They described the wrong house and continued to lie and say that we picked it up. When we called the restaurant they weren’t cooperative at all, they continued to say that the delivery driver gave it to us when that never happened, when it was CLEAR that the driver was LYING, the manager got defensive, got petulant and rude over the fact that his driver was lying to him and to us. The manager continued to argue with us over the fact that his driver “wasn’t” lying, opting to say that the house that the food was delivered to somehow had our names and our details and therefore “tricked” his driver. He refused to acknowledge that the food was never delivered to us, and was not helpful in the slightest. Do NOT waste your time or money on this awful place. The manager said that we needed to call menulog, where we ordered from, and then he would authorise a refund. When we did that the manager continued to tell menulog that the food was delivered to the right place and refused to give a refund. Menulog had to compensate us for this terrible situation. Again, do not waste your time trying to order from this...

Now re-named "HANGRY TOMATO" on Deliveroo with the same address??

I suspect but cannot confirm, due to the large number of bad reviews attached to its name? Please correct me if I'm wrong

FIRST TIME customer, ordered 2 x pastas and a salad on Deliveroo.

The salad was okay, the tomatos were a bit soft & grainy... but to be fair... an average 2.5 stars....

The Spaghetti Bolognese and Penne Napolitana were the "piece of resistance" here.

On a whole new level................

.....of soggy.... I mean soggier than soggy....

I mean baby food type soggy.

I mean my plastic fork goes straight through the pasta like butter soggy.

I mean it ruined our appetites enough for us to give a 1 star review on google soggy.

How does one stuff up boiling pasta?

It's literally pasta + pot of boiling water + timer timed to packaging specified cooking time = Al-dente pasta

Please get it together, do your job properly for all the starving kids out here.

Italians will tell you this.... serving soggy pasta is border line a crime....

Please invest in a few kitchen timers.
