Nutorious — Local services in Sydney

This was the first time I travelled to QVB via train and the smell of the nuts from this place is reason enough for me to do it more often on my way to work.

The place is small but you can see them in there making the caramelised nuts by hand, so you know it’s fresh. I bought a pack of 200g caramelised macadamias and another of mixed nuts, and I ended up finishing both by lunchtime. They were amazing. I feel like seeing them being made as I’m buying them really adds to the whole thing, and you can taste the difference compared to other places that sell nuts.

The person who served me, Julie, was also very nice and patient while I was looking through their products and deciding what I wanted to get. It looked like her and the other person who was working there were very happy doing their jobs, which is rare nowadays, I find, and it tells me that management obviously cares about its employees.

10/10, will definitely be coming back. I might get some...

Cashier on the morning of 3 Dec 2023 was extremely rude. Seeing how there were no Caramelised Macadamia Packs on display, I asked if there was stock.

She responded in a crude manner that there was enough. I proceeded to ask for 1kg of nuts and she said “oh we don’t have enough” 😂😭 so I just bought whatever they had.

I then found another Nut Shop called “The Nut Shop” 5 minutes away. You can get the same nuts at half the price (I kid you not 🤑)

Giving 1 Star as the nuts are decent (I intended to give 0 but Google doesn’t allow me to). Oh fire the cashier by the way, she’s going to lose...
