If I could leave 0 stars I would. Share my room are a disgrace. Do not, I repeat, do not, use this 'company'. First of all, we were sold an apartment and reassured that it would be getting a 'deep clean'. It didn't, the place was a mess, carpets, seats, walls, all stained. The kitchen was vile, grease and crumbs everywhere and the oven and microwave were unusable due to the filth. The beds were held together with a cable tie, a television AC cable and an elastic band with hooks. They had sheets on them that stank, honestly you could smell the body odour off them before you entered the room. The bathrooms were no better, dirty mirrors, showers with the previous owners soap scum all over them, dirty toilets, sinks with hair, from various parts of the body in them. One bedroom had damp on the wall and the carpet because the shower had been leaking. The door stops that should have been screwed into the floor were just lying there. There were roaches (remains of joints) on the balconies. Lights that didn't work for weeks. The dishwasher broke and was not replaced for about two weeks, despite calling share my room daily. When the cleaner finally showed up, he stated that he had never actually been asked to carry out a deep clean and had been having his own problems with share my room witholding upwards of $5000 in payments from him allegedly. Upon handing in our leaving notice, we were asked to leave the apartment spotless (which was laughable considering how it was left for us) but we did, although our dryer was broke and we had been trying to get this fixed for two weeks with no success, we cleaned our bed sheets (which we bought ourselves) and hung them to dry just in time, although some of our clothes were still damp upon leaving. Now, trying to get a hold of this company, specifically Eraldo, (may be spelt wrong) was impossible, they are experts at evading phone calls. We would constantly call them and email them about the same issues with no response, or a cheeky receptionist named Thomas making excuses for them and even hanging up on us. We never missed a rent payment, we were never a minute late with that or our other commitments. We were also told that our bond payment would be repaid to us within 1.5 weeks after leaving, which we questioned and were reassured about numerous times, even by the owner Daniel. Unsurprisingly it did not, despite them being delighted with the condition we left the apartment in, they are still holding on to our $4600. It has been 3 weeks. They have gone right back to avoiding any contact with us and having Thomas the receptionist get us off the phone. There are other things I could add to this but I feel this represents how shadey, unreliable and sneaky this little company is. You will see other scathing reviews beneath this, do not take them lightly. Do not trust them with your money, do not give them your business. The stress and frustration we experienced with this company was just not worth it, avoid them at all costs. (I have video and photographic evidence of all of this, also copies compiled of all of our written interactions with them (emails etc) and list of all of our ignored/ rejected...

DIRTY APARTMENT: the three bathrooms, the kitchen including the drawers with utensils, the appliances, the refrigerator, the terrace were frighteningly DIRTY, the wardrobe in the corridor was unusable because it was full of stuff to throw away, the only tidy room was the living room. I asked the agency for a cleaning lady because of my right to enter in a clean apartment but noone came, I asked my roommates for help (six people in the house including me) but they didn't want to do anything. Well, I had completely to clean the apartment by myself.
NO CONTRACT: Initially I signed a two-month contract with the agency, after which I asked for an extension for another six months. I got in touch with the agency who told me about a type of open contract, which after 3 weeks if I wanted I could leave the apartment without any particular reason but in reality he never sent me it by email with all conditions and I never signed it. After more than a month I asked the agency to send me the contract by email and they sent me the first one I had signed (the first two months) with the old date telling me that the new contract was the same as the previous one. After I insistently asked, they gave me a contract of only two months to SAFEGUARD themselves asking me to leave the apartment and telling me that my room had already been booked by another person.
Unfortunately I had problems with my flatmates, there was a cleaning plan attached to the refrigerator but noone of them respected it completely, they only cleaned the floor but the counter where the food was placed and the tables where the meals were consumed were never cleaned, they never put plates, glasses, etc. in the various cabinets. which they washed and often left the rice cooker full of rice inside and therefore unusable. I have always complained about it to my flatmates and never to the agency while they have been complaining about me to the agency since I arrived at the house. Some of their friends came to visit them in our apartment and I never said anything. In two months two of my friends came to visit me, one of them the day before my birthday and I had also notified them. Well, my flatmates complained about it to the agency again. The agency, instead of calling everyone together to understand what was happening and not harming anyone, only kicked me out of the house with the reasons that I brought people into the house (twice in a month) and that I incited arguments between the flatmates (I asked them to clean home). When I complained to the agency the response was: WE CAN ASK YOU TO LEAVE THE APARTMENT BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN OPEN CONTRACT, A CONTRACT THAT HE SENT ME AFTER HE ASKED ME TO MOVE OUT.
$300 REPLACEMENT KEYS: I lost the set of keys to the internal and external door of the apartment. I asked the agency the cost by phone and they replied that it was around 100 dollars. I also asked the apartment manager who replied that the real cost was 100 dollars. Finally, the agency asked me 300 dollars for the keys which it was deducted directly from my bond.
I don't wish that anyone has a horrible experience like the one...
Read moreMy experience started fine but when issues arose, I learned that the company generally did not respond to emails. Emailed concerns that werenât responded to included when a bathroom door had to be forced open by the fire department because it locked someone inside, pests, and dirty roommates. They seem concerned about the cleanliness of the house and send warning emails about the cleanliness yet I was surprised they didnât respond to my emails. So donât rely on emails.
There was no communication to me after I moved out about their inspection , so I called and they said I would definitely get an email. The only email that came a week later was them saying that their records showed I was 1$ short on my initial bond payment and so they wanted me to transfer them $1 to their account (kind of laughable.) This made me concerned that they were going to keep my bond for no reason. I transferred the $1 as requested. I received my entire bond a little over 1 month later. Why wouldnât they give me all of my bond back minus $1 for outstanding balance rather than bother and concern me over 1$, or better yet, add 1$ to one of the many times I paid rent after paying my bond? It was a very frustrating email to receive.
Overall, not bad but there is definite room for improvement when it comes to caring about customer satisfaction.
I hope the company reads this and takes it as constructive feedback to improve how they operate.
Edit: I reduced from 2 stars to 1 star. If you look at the response to my review, the company refuses to accept criticism so it is clear they will never change. 1. I never complained about the time to receive bond but thanks for wasting your time by explaining something that was irrelevant. 2. I did call about the door and there was not response so I called the fire department since I was locked inside and did not want to wait to contact an agency that never responds in the first place. However, that again was not the issue. The issue was that there was a bathroom door that was forcefully pried open by the fire department and that the agency did not bother to repair it when notified via email and telephone. A broken bathroom door for a bathroom shared with 6 people.... How stupid to say âthere was nothing we could do about the issue at that point.â 3. You never respond to important emails and are very slow to take action.
I suggest taking time to accept criticism and improve your company rather than taking that same time to deny and argue. Anyone who reads this will understand how hard headed management is and how difficult you are to...
