It was around 6:15pm 9th June 2023 when i went to the westfields parramatta store. Store hours not clearly displayed (i can only see the start time says 7:30am) but on google says shop closes at 7pm. At 6:15pm, all seats with no customers were already tilted upward=shop looked like it was closed except 3 sets of customers on tables. There were 3 customers waiting for their drink and no customer at the counter. I went to the counter and was served by an asian lady, didnt say a word to me. I asked what was the new drinks were, and she started telling me, mocha, vanilla, green tea and something something else literally sounded she was so bored. Then I asked her, "are they all new?" Because that was my question. Clearly wasn't even listening to the question. She then suddenly said no and pointed at the board, those are the new ones, cinnamon and chocolate. So i order the cinnamon frap, twice blended. She then processed the order, and said it was like 7+ dollars. I had to tell her, yup here's my card. I want to use my balance. I don't think I've ever had such a bad experience in starbucks burwood or macquarie as i did today. Then she was like yup done.... i realised later she didnt even give me a receipt or ask if i wanted one. After waiting, i got my drink. Barista just said my name and left my drink. Zero service. I would understand they want to go home if it was closing time. Or they should have told me they are closed rather than treat me like i'm making them work overtime. Clearly they didnt want to be working. Thats 1 lady, 1 barista, 1 guy cleaning. Lady was more interested in checking what the guy cleaning was doing and what he was not mopping, refilling the milk canisters than her actual job. Terrible service in Starbucks todayđ Drink was ok,...
Read moreThe place looks great, awesome environment. The thing that is poorly lacking in this cafe is the way i was treated as a customer. I ordered a dirty chai latte, went to sit down for five minutes. I drink it after letting it cool down abit and found it tasted like it did not have a coffee shot in it. So i went to the front bench if he put in a coffee shot in my dirty chai to which the barista named Josh said he did not. He then took my cup and just used a coffee shot to put into my drink. He did not even say sorry. I sat down not being pleased with this i went back and asked if he coukd just make it again because it did not taste like a proper dirty chai (by just adding it into the top of the drink). Which he then made quick while being annoyed and angry. He couldn't even look me in the eye when he gave me a new cup of coffee (which was burnt) and afterwards forcefully smashed his milk cup in the sink in front of me showing me frustration for somsomething he did wrong and did not handle in any way professional.
I don't usually rate or review places but its these experiences that make me.
Starbucks please teach your employees (Josh) how to deal with customer complaints even though my order was wrong initially and i asked if he...
Read moreAfter going to refund a water bottle that I purchased for my older mother a few weeks ago, I encountered terrible customer service from Chelsea, the store manager. Her approach was immediately unprofessional, aggressive, and unreceptive. She had told me that the refund policy of the store was two weeks and then proceeded to reject my refunding of a faulty water bottle that leaked water. I tried explaining that the bottle was faulty and tight which my mother could not open but she was adamant on disregarding what I had to say. She began to say that I didnât understand that their refund policy was two weeks. She started to yell at me aggressively to leave the store. One of the customers who was there had heard our conversation and reiterated to Chelsea that my mother couldnât open the bottle. Shockingly, she became open-minded and said that she was able to do so only AFTER another customer intervened. Not sure why she was not able to understand my concerns as Parramatta is multicultural and diverse so accents surely shouldnât be an issue. Under the Australian Consumer Law, customers should be entitled to a new product if there are evident defects or issues within the product. Extremely displeased with this level of staff...
