The music was okay tonight because it was Latin(ish) night. The DJ was playing some good hits but it was quite crowded so it was hard to find good space to dance. They had a little mini dance performance for like half a song which was a okay. But my real disdain for this bar was the lack of care. I was trying to help my friends sober up so I grabbed a couple glasses of tap water for free, but then I went back to grab another and the bartender refused and instead tried to charge 5⏠for one of those tiny little bottles of water đ€Șđ«. I may be an expat but Iâm not stupid đ. Thatâs when I realized it was time to vacate the premises.
UPDATE: 29.11 Iâve been a few more times since then. The club staff is absolute trash but they have the best DJs thatâs the problem. The bouncers thought one of my friends was too drunk so they wouldnât let the group in, then my sober friend from the group tried to come and join us later and they still wouldnât let him in. The dj had us take our tickets out for a raffle half way through the party and I ended up losing my coat check ticket and the oldest coat check guy was just plain rude and unprofessional claiming he didnât speak English though he said those words in a perfect English accent. He told me to go find my ticket on the dance floor in the full club. Finally I was able to get him to bring my coat but he charge me an additional 2 euros (on top of the 3 euros it cost just to check the coat in the first place) to get it back. The staff appear quite money-hungry and I respect the hustle but it just is not a good look for the reputation of the business at all. I hope they make adjustments...

I recently had a truly unpleasant experience at Babenberger Passage, and I feel compelled to share it with others to prevent anyone else from enduring what I went through.
I had reserved a table in the VIP section and ordered a bottle for my group. After a short break for a dance and a smoke, I returned to find our bottle missing. When I inquired with the waiter, he not only rudely denied any knowledge but also refused to acknowledge the receipt I had. Instead of resolving the issue, he called for security and things took a turn for the worse.
To my shock, the security personnel forcibly removed me from the club, despite my attempts to peacefully resolve the situation. I'm a small woman, and the security personnel's rough handling left me with bruises all over my arms the following day. It was an absolutely horrifying experience.
I took the matter to the police, only to be informed that nightclubs are considered private territories, allowing security to act with impunity. This is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the lack of accountability at Babenberger Passage.
If you value your safety, respect, and a positive experience, I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The disregard for customer well-being and the dismissive attitude towards legitimate concerns make Babenberger Passage a place to avoid, especially if you are a woman. There are plenty of other options in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and safety...

We had made a reservation as a big group a long time in advance, just for one friend of mine to be REFUSED ENTRY with no grounds. I asked the bouncer why they couldn't get in, nothing. I asked the (supposed) responsible person the same thing, also nothing. The only thing they said was that they reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. Everybody else in my group got in, but after this fiasco, I just told everybody to leave this horrendous club and go to O-Klub down the road. At least there you can be expected to be treated as a human being.
Just don't go if you want to have an actual fun night out. There are many options close by and ANY of them are a better choice than this dump.
It would be nice to see the door being managed by something other than the egotistical, racist bouncer and his buddy. Fire them or see this business go down faster than you can say...
