Looking for a proposal ring was ,for me, a very stressy moment with a lot of questions in my mind such as what is target budget, what set up should I take for the ring , what shape should I look for and which of the 4Cs I should take and finally « would my partner even like it » . I’ve been learning for months through many searches on google , youtube & social media. As a result, I knew what set up I should go for. One of my relative suggested me to visit 2-3 diamond shops which includes this one. On my first visit, I was with my parents and before stepping out of my car I wasn’t already feeling comfortable and was scared to make any mistake and I can only blame my perfectionist/scientist behavior. I’ve been warmly welcomed in this shop and proposed me a drink. With my criteria for the stone, they could propose me a couple of ones but there is always one of the 4C that goes out of my criteria which made me crazy and sad at the same time. Later on, I’ve been pushed to buy one of their stone which in addition didn’t have any certificate and that was a big turn off. As I’m about to give a significant amount of budget in a ring that should temporarily provide my future wife & family if worst things must happen to me , the least thing that I was looking for is the trust but instead I felt rushed. The first visit on those shops was very overwhelming and left the city of diamond without anything on my hand. I discussed to my relative about my experiences at the diamond shops and they were surprised. My relative shared my experience to their contact in this boutique and proposed me to come back there but this time with them. On the second visit, we went back to this shop with more serenity as I could now count on my relative to support me mentally. As soon as we went in the boutique, they’ve been sorry about my first visit in their shop and would like to catch up the bad experience that I got from it. They proposed me again a drink , they took the time to present me a new certificated stone with my criteria and listen to my ideas for the ring set up , they could provide on the same day what I wanted for the proposal ring. Super happy of the set up and how fast they could provide what I wanted, I finally decide to stick with this shop. Before they fix the stone on the ring , they proposed me to inspect the diamond with its engraved id and come visit their workshop where the proposal ring will take shape. Once done, we check again the engraved Id on the stone and it matches.

I do believe that nothing is perfect in the world but I also believe on second chance and I don’t regret my decision. The end result of the ring is just amazing and can’t be more happy about that. ( I will post a picture below once the proposal day is over ).
