One might expect a horrible tourist trap here, mere meters from central station. Now, this clearly isn't the most authentic, rustic and cheap place in the world... But it certainly isn't a ripoff, prices are fair, portions are generous, and the staff really goes above and beyond. We changed the hour of reservation, the number of people, we showed up with an infant unannounced, were in a rush to catch a train, AND had some difficult requests for allergies, and yet, everything went perfectly, the food was good, and staff was polite and helpful. Obviously, this type of restaurant shouldn't be compared to a Michelin star type deal... But for what it aims for, it's absolutely great. If you're in central Antwerp and want a relatively quick but decent meal, this place...

If you are a gastronomist/ foodie like me, please, I advice you to go somewhere else. The reviews here are so misleading! Do yall even have working tastebuds or had decent steak & fries before 😭 cuz this ain't it...

Bland taste, actually pretty expensive for what you get.

Had the filet mignon & entrecote. The taste was bland/ non existent. Fries very dry and the side salad... just don't. It was literally chopped onions, 1 strand of salad, 1 little piece of tomato lollll. I'm just speechless honestly.

The sauces (peppercream & mushroom) I ordered with the steak were so... diluted o.m.g. it was more like a soup instead of a creamy sauce. And it was 3.50€ extra per sauce?? Literally water/ jelly structure. I have ptsd from this place I swear.
