Chinook Plaza — Local services in Calgary

There's a Nigerian lady who owns a hair and nail salon/ barbershop on that strip. Very friendly and all her staff are so kind and polite. 😃 🙂 I highly recommend her business to be among the best place to visit anytime you're in the Chinook and McLeod Trail area. They sell nose masks for the Covid-19 protection, they sell hair and among all, the work environment is very atmospheric and friendly. This is now the newest place I normally go to get my dreadlocks twisted. Whenever you're there, make sure to ask of a lady called Chedda, she's from Congo, she's friendly and professional and knows how to assist you in getting what you need. There's also a Ghanaian lady at the reception too who is also very assisting...

I don't know someone working at the mall, even a janitor or, can speak English worse than an elementary student in Canada and display such a lackadaisical attitude. How did he even get the job exactly? This LEP person was even banning me from using the toilettes. Nice service!! You are not gonna earn my money, ever. Thank God I only ate there without shopping. Btw, if you have skybridge that leads to the LRT across a ridiculously wide road, you should have a sign directing people to go there. You don't expect every first goer to automatically know...

IMAGINE THIS. The mall that encompassed your childhood pops up on your review bar. You're about to explain the entirety of what Chinook malls means to you as an individual. Chinook mall is to what Ikea is to furniture shopping. You simply go to Chinook mall as the go to mall but when it's all realized, you get the underlying feeling that a trip to Chinook is never really that fun, in this case this represents Ikea furniture's longevity. Chinook will always be the mainstay mall of Calgary but it begs to wonder what the true appeal...
