Pacific Mall Edmonton — Local services in Central Core

I went to pay off a loan here. I was treated like royalty when I first arrived by a teller, by a manager type woman & a very nice security person. When I was helped by the woman, she helped me when the two people I went to see were both busy. I was very thankful. I waited quite a while. Vivina had no idea what she was doing. I had to tell her how to do part of her job. She said to "make the cheque out to my deceased husband's name" to pay the loan. Who EVER heard of that. I told her I should make it out to RBC. She went n asked her coworker, n sure enough, I was correct. After making out the cheque, I had to go to the front to the tellers. Although I was thrilled to have so many people helping me, all so friendly & kind, it took 4 ladies to make a loan pay out. 4 people!! Have they NEVER paid off a loan? I am disabled n they made me STAND there during this whole event, didn't even offer me a chair. Other tellers saw how uncomfortable n in pain I was in but nobody offered me a chair!! This took at least 20 minutes or longer. Before I left, I asked Vivina to email me some information, n she said she would. That was the 3rd of May, n I'm STILL waiting n it's the 15th. I thought only Canada Post took forever! I think they all need proper training in their jobs n in CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Oh, did I mention, it took 3 months to get this appointment? 3 months to pay a loan, I could have saved 3 months' worth...

I went to watch Oilers vs Kings at Dynasty Restaurant’s mega screen in Pacific Mall last night. The restaurant is offering beer for $5 and dim sum specials for watching the game.

When I was in the mall, I saw a security guard escorting two persons apparently not customers out of the mall.

I feel safe while I go to restaurants...

One of my favourite places in Scarborough/Markham. Seating is just limited and the shop workers are a bit overbearing when trying to make sales but I get it. The food...
