The Chopped Leaf location off of Cooper, (temp. closed now), had me move as many items as I could into a container a month ago as they were closing and I did so with nobody present even and I tied contents in nicely and etc to be taken away. Plus locked with a lock I bought! (Matthew Dahl hired me) and I did all that was asked! In a kind manner too. NO PAY still and just "D" arounds. His accounting team is the worst I have ever experienced and they are just lazy and non caring, with as little communication as humanly possible! I give up now trying and over just 490 dollars owed and I paid my helpers the very day it took place! They said they mailed a cheque on June 3rd and good one! If in Canada, mail would arrive from even the East coast to West coast in about 5 business days! NOT like 9 full days after today's mail arrived. Of course not in there.
All of the kitchen stuff I moved in the container too were so greasy and not cleaned! (NOT just saying this please know!) Terrible cleaning practices and I am glad I never ate there once!
Oh well, win many lose the odd one due to only ignorance and non care and loosey goosey terrible accounting! Worst I have ever seen from any business. I waited a ton of time already up to June 3 when they said cheques are sent out...
Read moreI wanted to love this location. I LOVE chopped leaf. And I was so happy to hear it was reopened as this was my first time here. But I did not get a good first impression. The service was not good, and the poor lady taking my order was clearly new and no one was telling her chicken did not come in the salad and I wanted to add it on the side. The lady who has clearly worked here longer was not helping. Not only that when my salad was made she forgot all my add ons that I paid for and put a huge scoop on dressing right in the middle of my salad. It was so much I couldn’t even eat it, it was seriously, disgusting the amount of dressing. It’s unfortunate that I had to rush back to work and didn’t realize how much it really was until I got there.
Since that visit, I had recently come back. Give it another shot. Almost the exact same thing happened. Except most employees were in the back. I had even asked my sauce to be on the side this time. For how Expensive this is every customer should be treated well. Please find new employees that do quality work. I unfortunately will be going to the other location...
Read moreThe first time I went I ate in. I had a full salad and chose the "custom" option. The ingredients were fresh, full of taste and well mixed. Today I went in and was very disappointed. I had to get a salad to go as I was short on time. I chose to get a full salad again; it seemed to me that the salad was significantly smaller in size (by about a quarter). The grape tomatoes had been sliced very quickly and ununiformly and the "halves" had not been separated before being thrown into the salad. When my order was ready it was yelled out sharply by the name of the salad...I was not sure if it was mine or not (I had paid when I ordered) so I looked without approaching. 5 seconds passed and it was called out again. I understand that they were very busy (it does seem like a very popular place) but that seemed very abrupt and unprofessional to me. In a nutshell, excellent quality and taste. Inconsistent portions.
