VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!

I have booked a Lipiflow treatment at Mississauga Vision Center through their website. The receptionist called me quickly and asked me about my situation. I told her about my watery eyes issue and she gave me an appointment. When I have arrived at the center, I filled up a form to describe my watery eye situation. Doctor greeted me at the reception and took me to one room. While I explained to the doctor what is my problem and required a treatment for my watery eye, she recommended an eye exam (prescription glasses) to me which was not required at all, and I told her I just need treatment for my watery eye but she didn't listen to me and keep doing the eye exam without my acknowledgement and charged me $125. She advised me that I have two options after the eye exam. 1. Make a massage to my eyes 2. Find an eye specialist to cure my watery eyes issue. SHE DID NOT PROVIDE ANY CURE/TREATMENT TO MY PROBLEM AT THE END. They don't care what the patient needs and just want your hard earned money. I was totally dissatisfied and would not recommend this place to anybody. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. ZERO STAR.

Thank you for your responding. Dr. Sud you are a professional doctor. But that day I met a non-professional doctor instead of you. She doesn't understand the problem of the Watery eyes. She just wants the patient's ophthalmology test as a visual test (prescription glasses). I just need to treat my Watery eye problem. However, she said she can check the pupil dilation test. Her professional knowledge is really disappointed! She doesn't care what the patient needs.

I feel frustrated and stressed about her problems. Since I have suffered unnecessary suffering. The watery eyes problem still caused me pain.

All of the staff, doctors and reception staff, were an absolute delight to interact with. Unlike many doctors' offices, they were right on time and I felt very confident in the doctors analysis of my health. One of the most pleasant clinics around by far. I gave only 4 stars because I was calling around for a reasonable price for a checkup, as my insurance only gives me partial coverage, and was quoted $105. There was a cheaper place (that seemed quite dingy) but I chose to go with this place due to its professional appearance (even though I wouldn't have had to pay out of pocket for the other place). I went in, asked for a basic exam, did what I was told, and was shocked when my bill was $160, especially when no one asked me if I wanted to do any additional imaging...I was quite shocked in having to pay so much. The lovely receptionist could tell I was taken aback at the price and volunteered an explanation. Saying that the exam was the quoted price, but imaging was extra (which I don't know how I could have possibly known that, as I don't work in this industry, and no one cared to inform me of this in advance)

If you are fully covered or don't care about surprise add-ons, this is honestly a fantastic place with wonderful staff. If not, see if you can pay up front before going in so they can't sneak in any charges.

This is the last place you will ever visit for any kind of vision needs. Especially Dr. Sood, an outstanding Optometrist and a gem of a person. Team members at every stage are so polite and extend courtesy every step, hence process made flawless. One day we find out that our son(10) has a vision problem. We were terrified. We get to know about Dr. Sood from my sister's family as my niece is already with Dr. Sood. Dr. Sood and the team examined and explained the situation in such a way that half of our problem (Stress) was already gone, including our son's. He has a unique way to deal with his patients. He will make the patient comfortable and listen to him with no rush ever. Today was our 8th visit I believe, same attention was given to us as it was day one.

THIS IS A NEW PROCESS(IMO) to kind of temporary cure to eyesight, where our son DOESNT HAVE TO WEAR EITHER GLASSES OR LENSES DURING DAY TIME AT ALL AND STILL HIS EYESIGHT IS 20/20. No, our son did not go through any surgery. We are from Brantford, but Mississauga is not far for us for such a successful treatment. We highly recommend his clinic and the process as well as we and my sister's family highly benefited from this unique treatment and Dr. Sood as well as his team at Mississauga Vision Centre.
