Nightmare trip to Tremblant for me and my family. We stayed at Altitude 172-5 in August but unfortunately, due to several issues caused by Tremblant Alouer the holiday was a complete mess. After paying such a high premium for accommodations you'd think the experience would be at least average. I let Tremblant Alouer know about the problems and they never replied, not even to apologize. These were the three major issues... When we arrived at the location we tried numerous times to enter the garage but the code we were given would not work. We tried to call the phone number but as it was after 4:30pm no one answered. We assumed we were at the wrong location because the address is not clearly marked on the building so we drove around for way too long looking for the correct place. At the end of the day, it turned out we were sent the wrong code prior to our arrival. Thankfully, after an hour, a random person walking by was able to help get us in. After we finally entered the condo we discover that the washing machine had recently soaked the surrounding carpet leaving a huge wet patch. Clearly this had just happened as the dryer was running and drying a few bath towels. When we made Tremblant Alouer aware of this we were, not offered a new unit to move to. Instead two industrial fans were dropped off and and we were instructed to run these fans non-stop until it was dry. Despite the fact that the fans were incredibly loud and bothersome, and actually frightened our youngest kid, we tried to keep them on to dry out the floor. But after running them for 24 hours the wet carpet had barely changed at all and would clearly not be dry until after we left. We spent the rest of our vacation taking care of this issue for the next guest I guess. At 5am on the night we arrived the home alarm system (which had indicated that it should not be touched) started beeping and woke everyone (that includes two adults, one senior, one six year old, and one 2 year old). This was incredibly stressful for everyone as we thought someone had tried to break in. Unfortunately the actually issue was completely Tremblant Alouer's fault as the alarm console’s battery had run low and was beeping to advise us of a low battery. Seeing as we received no apology, no refund, and no communication with the people who took our money I greatly regret...
Read moreBeautiful slope side condo, well equipped, very clean, comfortable beds and secure parking/access. Elevator takes you right to your door (key access). We stayed in building #170/172 on the 3rd floor in unit 9 which was next door to building #166/168 that has the actual ski in/ski out access. Ski in yes (downhill right to the door), ski out not really, more like slope access. You have a short uphill walk from the door, then across a short flat then up the embankment to the Sentiers des Pruches ski run (blue). It's easy unless it rains/freezes. When it did rain then froze this walk was very treacherous so be careful. Hot tub in our building was closed & drained for maintenance, the attached swim current pool was also down for filter maintenance and that was not mentioned until after we paid for the week. Luckily there was a bigger better hot tub avail right at the ski in/out door in #166/68. Just a short walk thru the indoor garage of each building to access it (and ski lockers too). BBQ was NOT AVAILABLE in winter due to local bylaw and that was not posted anywhere online. BEWARE no BBQ in winter. 4 minute walk downhill to the main village. All in all a great...
