If you want to save your time and your money, don’t go here. Waited 15 mins to order when I was standing right in front of the server as she was taking shots with a customer and chatting away. I ordered a large all dressed pizza for takeout it cost $30. After 10-15 mins they brought out the wrong size pizza. My receipt literally said large and the sever looked soo confused when I pointed out that she gave us the wrong size. I’m pretty sure she was drunk. Another 10-15 mins later got the correct pizza. Went to my hotel only to see that the pizza inside the box was a good 2” smaller than the actual box and the dough was raw. The pizza was soo soggy underneath I thought they spilled water on the bottom of the box. My friend unrolled her crust and she could literally kneed the pizza dough. We tried to just eat the edible parts but our stomachs started to hurt. We went back to the restaurant with 4/6 slices to let them know that the dough was straight up raw and asked for a refund. When I told and showed the server the pizza was raw, he proceeded to tell me that’s how it is and asked if I wanted a new pizza. If your pizzas are going to be consistently raw I don’t want another one. The two servers said they didn’t know how to refund a visa transaction. If that machine was in English I would’ve processed the refund myself. So now after I wasted 45 mins and kept my group waiting on me, I have to wake up extra early tomorrow morning to go meet the manager and get a refund. If you want delicious thin crust pizza thats cooked and reasonably priced with excellent service go to pizzaterria you will not be...
Read moreLOVED IT! The pizza was amazing. We (2 people) ordered a large arugula and prosciutto pizza: prosciutto was thick cut and perfect amount. Good helping of delicious arugula and a drizzle of balsamic👌 The service from the manager to the cook/server(?) was amazing. They were very attentive and friendly despite the fact that they had to wait on dine in tables AND do online orders. I am giving a 4 star based on this fact. They need to discontinue online orders. I think in a post lockdown world, the dine in experience has returned and shouldn’t be compromised. It’s too small of a restaurant to be catering to so many online orders and offer dine in. I felt for the staff. We had to wait 30 min and come back (glad we gave it the chance!) even though there were tables available due to the fact that the staff had too many online orders on a Saturday night. I think they had to turn away other dine in customers as well because of this. Also servers make 0$ in tips when there is only take out orders so I don’t blame them for asking for tips!! It’s sad. Owner needs to change things up and listen to their staffs needs. As I read more low star reviews I can see what the problem is clear and simple. There’s too many online orders to fulfill and sometimes either quality in food or quality in service gets hit for either dine in or take out customers. The manager even told us it’s hard to do both… Cute place! Anyways, the staff made our night and the pizza and beer was the cherry on top....
Read moreBe weary as an American tourist. We researched the entire Tremblant pedestrian village prior to arrival and (aside from this place) were told that USD was gladly accepted, credit cards accepted, and Canadian dollar change given to USD paying customers.
We have found this true across the entire mountain and village except this place. We were told cash only upon entering. No problem. The pizza we ordered came out incorrect, right at closing time, but we we just travelled all day to get here and starving so we ate it. No problem.
The major issue came at paying. The no credit card rule was one thing, but what they don’t tell you until you’ve spent is that if you do pay in USD that they don’t honor the exchange rate so you pay in USD what the CAD price is, so with the USD well above the CAD we were essentially charged a 32+% premium. On top of that, we were not informed a service charge was baked into the bill so we unknowingly left a proper 20% gratuity on top of the auto-grat.
We’re here for a week and loved the food and staff but for the above reasons will be staying away from Yaoooo Pizza Pub during our stay.
**side note - we have found it’s illegal in Quebec to not honor the exchange rate and do plan to bring that up as we paid a LOT for some highly priced incorrect food and quite a few...
