We are a family of four. The studio was sufficient for us to get by for 3 days. We chose this place for the prime location and the kitchen. The location was perfect; close to shops, restaurants, and ski lift and rental. The parking is narrow but we didn’t have any issues with finding a parking spot. Trolleys were provided for moving suitcases to the rooms. The room has a small kitchen which includes cutlery, baking dish, measuring jug, plates, dish washer, kettle, toaster and microwave. One thing that was missing was a pan to cook eggs/bacon. Nonetheless I improvised and used the oven dish but took a longer time. For affordable groceries, we drove 15 mins to Super C which had everything we needed. The room has S&P but no other seasoning. A Keurig (coffee machine) and a few coffee pods were supplied. There is a small fireplace. Logs could be purchased from the concierge for $8. The critique I have for this place is the pillows were uncomfortable. I wish they provided extra and/or better pillows. In summary, we were glad we chose this place. It was super quick to get to lifts/gondolas, we saved money from cooking our own meals. We also saved time as there was a waitlist for restaurants during peak times. The icing on the cake was the staff at the desk were friendly and welcoming.

"a motel with good service and a great location" - place st. Bernard contains 2 "hotels" in one. We stayed at the Johansen. The reception is in a separate building close by (like with a motel). The front desk staff are helpful and nice. The location of this hotel is right next to the mountain lifts. Can't get any closer. There are no amenities!!! No gym. No pool. No jacuzzi, no dining, nothing (just like a motel). The reception hut resembles a lodge with old furniture that looks like it's been here when this place was built 80 yrs ago. The rooms are similarly old. We were 3 people and got a suite with a kitchen. It contained a full bed (not queen) and a couch pullout with an old mattress that had a metal divider down the middle underneath it. Extremely uncomfortable. The furniture was from the 60s. But not nice furniture. The cheapest they could get at the time. TV was one of the first flat screens when they first came out. Electric stove looked 60 years old. Tiny toilet bowl. No USB phone outlets of course. The hotel owners choose to not overhaul the rooms because they take advantage of the location and know that people will rent. My advice: stay at the Hilton 200 feet further down in the village.

Book your room now. I stayed here for IRONMAN, and when traveling for an event designed intentionally to stress your every faculty, it’s a godsend when the place you’re going to call home for five days becomes the last thing you need to worry about. And could you have a better view? My room had a balcony overlooking the plaza, and fresh mountain air doesn’t cost extra, so I literally didn’t close the door during my entire stay. The full kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals while taking up the least amount of space from the rest of the room. A rare luxury in most hotels nowadays. I drove to Mont-Tremblant from Charlotte, NC in my Tesla, and color me shocked when I pulled into the parking garage and there were two EV chargers at the ready. Mont-Tremblant as a location for a race was a joy beyond my expectations, so I know I’ll be back. When I am, Place St-Bernard will be the first place I look for vacancy. Make it yours. Merci beaucoup, J-M and John!

I will admit It was so disappointing my 3rd year at place st-Bernard. First off we scheduled through the Tremblant website for the 3rd year in a row, last year we were accommodated with free parking as usually the cost is $30, but returning guests they waived that fee. It did not come up in our invoice when we booked online. Once we arrived to the hotel we brought that up the gentleman did waive the fee which was nice. Moving forward it was really difficult to find our building as the way he described where our building was, was not clear and was very confusing it took us an hour until we were able to find our room. Not only that there were kids playing soccer and running around in the parking basement around people's expensive vehicles!!!!

Our room was not clean at all when we arrived, there was food left in the sink and dishes in the dishwasher, we asked for a queen size bed and this bed was NOT a queen this looked like a twin size bed it was very small and they didn't even have proper sheets on the bed, meaning a fitted sheet on the bottom, also some really uncomfortable pillows let me remind you we have stayed here before and have NEVER experienced this. Our room was located right beside the stair well it was REALLY noisy and hard to sleep. The first year we came to Place st-Bernard the cost was much less then what we paid we also stayed in the Suite 3 nights which was beautiful ($700) this year we paid almost $1000.00 for a queen bedroom for 3 nights and got stuck beside the stairwell we booked this room over 2 months ago. Our bathtub drain was broken we had to stick a spoon in between to keep it open. ALSO no body at all cleaned our room the only time they came was at 8:30am on a Saturday morning I asked if they could come back later they never did. Not once over the 3 day period was our room cleaned.

It gets worst, the only access we had to the building from the village or gondola you had to walk down these steep steps about 15-20 steps they were so ICY!!!! I fell on my first day there and am now dealing with a broken lower vertebra that will take me 5-6 weeks to heal. I am not happy and I wish I could have taken pictures of these steps so I could post them to show everybody, we were staying in building 3 to be exact.

I will NEVER EVER return to this hotel or the village all you hear are people screaming and fighting in the middle of the night people over drink and its kind have become disgusting to be honest.

Take my advise do not book here its not worth the money your better off staying out of the village.

Hope this helps and hopefully they can update there building to equal the cost that they are charging...

This was our fifth year at Mont Tremblant and our first year staying at Place St-Bernard. Upon check-in, we were "upgraded" to a suite on the 5th floor of Deslauriers Nord. Let me start with the positives. The location in relation to the gondola was fantastic. The layout of the suite and the multiple bathrooms for a family were excellent. And because there were very few guests on the floor we were staying on, it was very quiet. Now onto the negatives. The elevator in Deslauriers Nord is out of service. Because there is only 1 elevator per side, this was horribly inconvenient. We parked in the south lot, took the elevator up to the 4th floor on the south side, then needed to trek our luggage, bags, groceries up a flight of stairs to the fifth floor. Be sure to ask for a suite in the south end if the north elevator is still out of service. The suites are tired and not overly clean. My suggestion to housekeeping staff is to dust all surfaces regularly, including light fixtures, lamp shades, and the chair rails in the bathroom. At least twice a year, the fans should also be cleaned. The toilet bowl handle in at least one bathroom was cracked and on the verge of breaking. Because we were (or so it appeared) the only ones staying in our wing of the fifth floors, the housekeeping carts were stored in the hallways (two of them) right near the entrance of the stairwell we needed to use to access the lobby or elevator. Store the elsewhere to avoid blocking the hallway. And the entire time we were there, there was a pile of dirt and dust in the hallway. Why housekeeping staff did not vacuum it up once in five days is baffling. It could be because we were the only ones on the fifth floor and they didn't bother coming up. Overall, our rating would have been higher were it not for the elevator issue. Make sure you check at reception when you check in and don't be under the impression it will be...

I honestly don't even know where to begin and never leave reviews but I feel like whats going on inside this place needs to be made more known to the public.||From the very beginning, the blonde old receptionist sent us to the wrong hotel room with all of our luggage - TWICE. After trying to break into some other poor families room in the middle of the night, we called her and not only did she not even care and made us luggage everything back, but she lectured us about where we parked our car.||Which, by the way, doesn't even matter. Considering we paid for a full weekends parking in the hotels garage but the entire garage was full with no parking for us because "people sneak in on busy weekends and towing says its too busy to enter the village today"- as per "Remi", the receptionist. The hotel refused to reimburse us for this because there were parking options on the other side of the village which is not what we paid for. ESPECIALLY with all the ski and snowboarding equipment.||While I will say that the room was nice, I dont trust the bed either. I'm not sure if its a reaction to the detergent used for the sheets but I'd really like to believe that the reaction on my arm wasn't from bed bugs..||On check out when we raised all of our concerns to receptionist, "Remi", he interrupted us in the middle of our convection to say "Please to stop talking" because a call was coming in and told us to "please go to the side because its rude to keep people waiting on the phone". As it wasn't rude to completely disacknowledge our entire conversation. Which went no where, we were told to just write an email to the hotel when we get home and given no reimbursement for the parking we never received.||Worst stay of my life. They have some SERIOUS customer service and staff training issues they need to address.. after investing in a better garage security system and...
