PLEASE BELIEVE THE COMMENTS and don't break your wallet over this. It's unfortunate what's happening to the restaurants in Tremblant because of covid, but if you want better quality food at reasonable price, just go 10-15min outside of the village. On empty stomach, we finally found this place that was still opened around 9:30pm and were the last customers (had to order for takeout)but it was an instant regret the moment we tasted the food. AND, on top of it all, all the portions were meant for kids, when you pay about 22-24$ for each of these: General Tao: this one has to be a joke because they are more like frozen nuggets with a drizzle of sweet sauce. Beef in red curry: basically of big container full of sweet orange soup with a few noodles and tasteless pieces of beef at the bottom. Pad Thai: flat, coriander flavor overpowering the whole plate, and the chicken?!? They messed up real bad their spices on the chicken! We felt they just threw whatever leftover of chicken they had in it. Beef chow mein: thankfully, it was the only dish that made more sense and was actually decent regarding the flavors. You shall never see me ordering there again but we chose that over dying from...
Read moreI'm Asian, and I love my Asian food. Spent a week in the village and was craving Asian food so we went there on our last night. Walking past this place on multiple occasions, the smell from the restaurant was enticing. We waited 15 mins to get a table. Server was nice. Ordered steam dumpings, chicken satay and edamame for appies. The satay was great but the dumplings and edamame cold and uncooked. 2 other tables arrived after us and got their apps and food before us. We ordered won ton meals and actually had to find a waitress to ask what's taking so long for our enteees? When the wonton meals did arrive, it was cold, broth bland, noodles not fully cooked and the wonton was THE WORST, most disgusting wonton I have ever had in my entire life and I have had a lot of won ton soup in my life. We couldnt finish, it was just so gross. Thorough disappointment all around, and that cost us 105$. I do not recommend this place. Dont waste money, go have steamed mussels and oysters at La Forge instead!! Or enjoy a nice vibe/ambiance at Diable, anywhere but at the OWok! I promise you will be disappointed if you're a true...
Read moreTLDR: AVOID like the plague, thai express is better at 1/5th the cost... Francais: Trop chère, piètre qualité, temps d'attente de 45 minutes à 1hr.
Started with wonton soup that didn't taste like wonton soup. We knew something was up when it took them 20 minutes to bring the poor imitations out.
The main courses were the Lovenest (sweet and sour chicken with vegetables on a "nest" of fried/egg noodles) and the Green Thai Curry.
45 minutes later (i.e. over an hour after we were seated, we received our meals). The curry had the consistency of water and the taste was off. The lovenest was even worse... The vegetables were good, but the chicken was dry and tasted bland, the sauce was repulsive (had nothing to do with sweet and sour) and the noodles weren't like any other noodles I've seen used for nests before.
Oh and to add to the dining experience, the lighting was so poor I had trouble seeing my food.
I don't expect to wine and dine in a spot like this, but to pay 80$ WITHOUT DRINKS for something I can have at Thai Express... Over my dead body. Other patrons were also pissed off...
