I stopped in on a busy Saturday night for some ice cream with my kids. I asked the staff if it would be possible to see the ingredients for the soft serve ice cream as well as the milk chocolate sauce it gets dipped in for allergen/dietary restriction purposes. I understand they were busy and it can get overwhelming when a line forms outside, but the response I got was absolutely ridiculous. The younger man I spoke to asked why I needed to see it, after I explained the reason, he huffed and puffed and made it clear I was bothering him and resentfully showed me the packaging. When I asked if it was possible to see the milk chocolate sauce container, he kept repeating ''we don't have it', we don't have it." At that point an older lady (frazzled-looking) co-worker turned around and said ''c'est quoi le probleme?" in which I responded "there is no problem, I am just trying to know what the ingredients are for this chocolate sauce.'' She then says, ''it's only milk and chocolate." I looked at her understanding that I would get nowhere with this ignorant fool. I smiled and left. Customer service = big fat zero. So unhelpful, no desire to genuinely serve or help customers. I was beyond turned off by the entire experience. Chocolato, you can do better in finding talent to...
Read moreSoft ice cream is very good and it had us coming back multiple times. But it's not perfect. The amount you get is basically random. Sometimes a small is larger than a medium at other times. Having two kids, the kids always have to watch how the other got more. I figure, ok, so let's get a small. The kids get what resembled like a medium from previous time, and I really got a tiny one. It's so inconsistent! It makes it frustrating. I also question the "line up". The ordering process is painfully slow, it seems. But I wonder if the line up is a bit artificial, to create a sense of urgency or something. To create the impression that everyone wants it, and that when you see a short-ish lineup that you should join before the lineup grows. I bet they're capable of working the orders quicker and prevent this lineup. Interesting how the other ice cream place "Mi-Station", despite its silly Nintendo like name, is deserted. Their ice cream isn't that bad if you're ok with the basics. They cost...
Read moreVisited today i.e. 06th Aug 2023. Ordered a pista ice cream covered with coconut chocolate dip on a cone.
Waited 30 mins outside to get in only to be told by the girl at billing counter “only one ice cream can be tasted and if you don’t like it move, there are other people in line”.
To be honest the cashier girl was loud, aggressive and absolutely rude. I even asked her if it’s common to be rude with customers here..then she was like “what do you mean”?
May be they are rude because of so many customers. Anyways then they served the ice cream on smallest cone in the world…lol.
It started melting off right away. In terms of taste I would rate costco’s chocolate vanilla cone way better than these guys.
Overrated and rude...
