Fancy That — Local services in Ontario

Popped in to this store today while in a rush to get to work. I came in accidentally actually I was under the impression I was entering the store beside this one but figured hey let’s give it a go. Immediately I explained my situation and an extremely nice lady gave me a hand. I explained I was running behind and she sold me these pants for $78 where her boss had made an appearance and was sweet as pie. Fast forward I come back ten minutes later to return the pants that do not fit. I was assured they were an XS they were not. The kind staff member I spoke to first then called her boss in, they spoke in French to each other after I explained I wanted a return which was just ignorant seeing as I can understand French. The manager im assuming she was then explained they only do in store credit or exchange which sounded great unfortunately I was told no exchange possible as it was final sale and that was on my receipt.. a receipt I never actually received. I wasted almost 100 on a pair of pants I can’t wear and was treated horrible by the dark haired little woman. She needs to be trained on people skills. Will not...

Honestly I don’t know why I bother going in here. Maybe because I like to shop local and think today will be different but it never is and I won’t be back. Todays poor customer service experience consisted of the two salespeople one helping the other shop for themselves, complaining about the condition of a box of shoes returned by another customer, and then trying on said shoes. I was the only customer in the store. Not one of word was said to me even as I looked through a few pant stacks for my size. I left feeling overwhelmed at the rudeness and I told them to have a nice day sarcastically on my way out.
