Poor communication. Disorganized. Low quality of work.
I dropped off a belt for shortening on Thursday May 9th. I was told it would take one week to shorten it. We agreed on pickup for Saturday May 18th because I wasn't free on weekdays. I was going to need the belt shortly afterwards for an event.
I called the store on the Saturday and was told the belt wasn't ready yet because a worker was sick for three days (which is completely fine, it happens to everyone). After asking multiple times, they refused to give me an estimate of when the belt would be ready. I drove in to pick up the belt anyways. I needed it soon, and was going to get it shortened elsewhere. I wish they'd called to tell me my belt wasn't going to be ready by the date written on my ticket.
When I arrived, they couldn't find my belt. I waited for 25 minutes. Take a look at the first picture - the work area is dirty and disorganized. I understand that they're busy, but an organized area and system would surely help them get their work done faster.. and not lose items.
I was told they would call me on the next business day when they find the belt so that I can come pick it up. I left the store afterwards. I'm more on the passive end, my fiancée is not. She came back to the store and refused to leave until they found the belt. After 30 minutes of searching, they found the belt. Turns out it was already shortened, and just not placed with the other "ready" items.
The belt was given to my fiancée for free because of all the trouble. I appreciate the gesture. A gentlemen in the back didn't seem too happy about this and still wanted to charge her the $15.
Take a look at the second picture. The quality of stitching done on the belt is very poor (crude and crooked). Even if they hadn't misplaced the belt, I still wouldn't have paid the full cost because of the poor quality of work. The third picture is how a belt should be stitched after being shortened.
Their prices are cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. I cannot recommend these...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences ever! They literally lost my boots! I went there and have my name and phone number. They told me they’re not sure whether they can fix my boots or not - that they will tell me whether they can or not in a matter of 2-3 days. I have not been notified and did not want to intrude. It was 3 weeks and then I decided to visit. The man was EXTREMELY rude! He asked me for a ticket and I told him the whole story and started treating me like I am a liar and delusional. He tried to embarrass me in front of other customers by saying phrases like “You should have the ticket! You need to wait! I will double the price! I even give my wife a ticket!” Then kept me waiting for 30 mins and said he will look for my boots. He said he will phone me when he finds it and that he can’t find it right now (even though he kept me waiting for 30 mins. I tried contacting him and somehow the number on Google is not the correct number. It took two weeks and he did not contact me. I came and asked for my boots and he was like “You walked away rudely last time” even though even the second time I came I left my name and contact details. It was a horrendous experience! I did not get...
Read moreI had the unfortunate experience of bringing a designer bag and sneakers to this establishment two weeks ago, only to find that the promised cleaning services had not been effectively carried out. The bag still emitted a musty odor, contained the same items in the inner pocket, and retained stains and dust in the corners, despite their claim of shampooing the inside and spraying the outside. Similarly, the sneakers were inadequately cleaned, with dirt persisting on the soles, laces, and sides. When I raised my concerns, the staff's defensive and slightly rude response, along with their raised voices, left me feeling uncomfortable and pressured to pay for unsatisfactory work. Despite the initially positive reviews, I cannot recommend this establishment and hope others will not encounter a similar...
