I enrolled at Seneca College with high expectations, especially after paying my fees early, anticipating that this would grant me the advantage of selecting classes that align with my preferences and schedule. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.
The class scheduling system is severely restrictive, offering only a handful of pre-made schedules, all of which include inconvenient gaps of up to two and a half hours between classes, stretching the academic week unnecessarily to five days. The inability to customize my schedule to fit a more compact and efficient timeframe is both frustrating and disappointing.
Moreover, the administrative support regarding this issue has been lacking. Despite reaching out multiple times, the responses have been generic and unhelpful, merely reiterating the limitations of the current system without offering any tangible solutions. This lack of effective communication and support only adds to the frustration.
Considering the significant investment of time and money, I expected a more accommodating and flexible scheduling system. The current setup not only disrupts personal and work commitments but also reflects a disregard for student needs and preferences. I hope the administration takes immediate steps to address these shortcomings and provides a more student-friendly scheduling experience...

The meeting information was also incorrect and was hard to find if you never been to the campus before, there is no EF shipping no receiving building even after looking at the Seneca navigation app and their own information kiosk i couldn’t find one. Even after asking a security guard I still couldn’t find the right meet up location without wandering around to find the E or F building.
Next time feed the SSF members and give them coffee, and have signs up for directions to the meeting location.
