I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Vietnamese Delight, conveniently situated at 3555 Don Mills Rd unit 9, North York, ON M2H 3N3. Let me just say, this restaurant truly lives up to its name, providing a delightful Vietnamese culinary experience.
From the moment I entered, the staff greeted me with warmth and kindness, creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a first-time eater of Vietnamese cuisine, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Pho Vietnamese Delight surpassed all my expectations with their incredible food and efficient service.
For my meal, I opted for the 135 Lemongrass Chicken Noodle Soup, and I must say, it was a perfect choice. As someone who prefers non-spicy dishes, this soup hit the mark, as it carried a delightful lemongrass flavour without any overpowering heat. The balance of flavours was superb, and the generous portion left me feeling fully satisfied.
To complement my meal, I decided to quench my thirst with a refreshing watermelon juice. What impressed me most was that the restaurant made it from fresh watermelon, resulting in a vibrant and naturally sweet beverage. It was the ideal companion to the flavourful soup, enhancing my dining experience.
Overall, Pho Vietnamese Delight is an exceptional restaurant that has won my heart. The excellent Vietnamese cuisine, coupled with the friendly and attentive staff, creates an atmosphere that is both inviting and enjoyable. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Vietnamese food or a newcomer like myself, don't miss the opportunity to savour their delicious 135 Lemongrass Chicken Noodle Soup and indulge in their refreshing watermelon juice. Your taste buds will thank you for the delightful journey into...
Read moreI haven't been to this place in several years, but I did have good experiences in the past. I had a long day at Service Ontario next door, so I was in the mood for pho and decided to get some of the delicious pho I've had in the past here. It was around 5pm and the all tables were empty with one person ordering at the back. I came in and the owner yelled for me to come to the back and asked what I wanted. I ordered and he asked for payment, and foolishly I paid even though I intended to eat in. I should have made that clear in hindsight, but he didnt ask me either, and I wasn't sure if their practices have changed during the pandemic. So I paid and took a seat to wait for my food and a few minutes later, the owner dropped off my order in take out containers. I was confused and mentioned that I wanted to eat here. He responded that I didnt tip. Yes, I didn't tip when I paid, because I always tip after I eat and ready to leave, not when I place my order. I responded accordingly and he then offered to give me a bowl, but I could tell he was annoyed. I was literally the only customer in the restaurant but I felt like he didnt want me there. I'm sorry to say that I will never step foot at this...
Read moreI've been a frequent customer. This place has it's pros and cons. Certain dishes definitely exceed others. Overall, the setting is warm and comforting. The family is pleasant and will do their best to make your experience a good one. Portions are ample, however I am noticing the quality of product is starting to go downhill. The soup broth is hit and miss, and sometimes tastes nothing more than bland salty water. I fear that they merely dilute their principal solution to save money. This makes me furious, since soup is supposed to taste good, NOT JUST SALTY. Secondly, there is always a telltale smell and taste of Chlorine Bleach in the soup, which is not appetizing in the least. I used to order the pad tai, but found the overall consistency too mushy, plus it would give me stomach cramps. These inconsistencies in quality are forcing me to take my business elsewhere, I really think that the food quality is sub-standard, and that is the main reason for me going out to eat in the...
