JK HAIR SALON — Local services in Vancouver

I put too much faith on Korean hair salon. As much as I want to support Korean business, it was too terrible to let go of this experience. I had a haircut, and all I asked was little trim and thinning my hair. And here is what happened(please see the attached photos). It was not my first time thinning my hair at salon. So, I know what it looks like after thinning hair. I had no problem when I tied my hair for my entire life. However, after I have been to JK hair salon, when I tie my hair up, some hair stick up everywhere especially the lower back part of my hair. The inner layer of my hair was totally ruined. So, I called, and whoever answered the phone asked me to come to the salon.  I went there. I knew that the hair is already too much shortened so there is nothing she can do, but she said that she can thin my hair more to make the part look like natural-looking cute hair. But the problem is that it is going to cause same issue after one month because it grows. I was so disappointed that she did not say sorry for what she did to me but said sorry for the fact that she can't help this situation. And i love high ponytail hair but she told me to lower the ponytail in order to make it look fine. It has been over a month now, but the problematic part of my hair still bothers me a lot every time I look at the mirror and it is visible even in the form of shadow on sunny day. Absolutely terrible experience. I had Jay and right from the beginning it was clear he didn't care much about what I wanted in terms of hairstyle. He didn't even ask nor bother trying to. He simply wanted to get it done as fast as possible resulting in very botched haircut with a lot of unevenness. Seriously if you don't take pride in what you do than perhaps it is best to close shop. Very dissatisfied in the lack of service and integrity in this place.

In response to your reply: You never said clearly in detail what you said below but only merely said something very vaguely. There was no greeting nor much conversation about details as you seemed very unpreoccupied. The unevenness not only pertains to the top but also to the sides. You did both sides in only one pass each not bothering going over again to ensure evenness, everything seemed very rushed. Only when I got home that I notice how poor the haircut really was. For a $50 haircut (which is not cheap) a customer deserves better care to attention and service than your performance today. As I said if you don't take pride in your services than rightfully you do not deserve to demand such a premium price plain and simple.
