I've always dreamed of getting a tattoo, but for some reason, it never came to fruition—perhaps fears of regret held me back. That all changed when my coworker Mansi surprised me with an unforgettable gift. Her husband, Khushal, happens to be a talented tattoo artist. With little time to spare, I designed my tattoo on the spot, and by the time we arrived at the shop, it was already printed and ready for inking.

The studio itself was immaculate and hygienic, reflecting the care and investment they put into creating a welcoming atmosphere—definitely not the intimidating or sketchy vibe you might expect. While I was there, I even had the opportunity to explore some neighboring businesses, and I loved seeing how they all support one another.

As Khushal worked on my tattoo, he made me feel completely at ease. His sense of humor kept the mood light, and surprisingly, the process was nearly painless. We chatted about a range of topics, including his advice on preparing homemade meals for my dog. It was in that moment that I recognized Khushal's genuine compassion—a quality that made me feel confident about having him ink my skin.

I got my first ever lobe piercings here and am so happy I did. I’d been on the fence about doing it for years and dropped in spontaneously and felt right at ease. The shop owner, Kushal, did my piercings himself and it was clear he cares about the craft and his customers. He does it by hand which made it not hurt really at all (I was always terrified of the guns which he explained aren’t really necessary and are much more painful). He was thorough with the aftercare explanation and I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. No pain in the following days and they seem to be healing well.
