I recently had the pleasure of stopping Jumbo Hotdog on Granville Street, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked up to the stand, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly service that set the tone for a fantastic meal.
First and foremost, the hot dogs themselves were absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection with a nice snap to the casing, they were juicy and flavorful – a true testament to the quality of the ingredients used. The menu offered a variety of toppings and sauces to choose from, allowing me to customize my hot dog to my liking. The options were not only extensive but also fresh and vibrant, adding an extra layer of taste and texture to my meal.
The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my order. The bun was perfectly toasted, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite, and it was just the right size to hold the generously sized hot dog. The condiments were clearly made with care, and the stand even offered some unique and creative combinations that I wouldn't have thought of trying elsewhere.
The pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion size. I felt like I was getting excellent value for my money, which is always a plus when dining out.
What truly stood out, though, was the friendly and personable staff. The team running the hot dog stand was not only efficient but genuinely seemed to enjoy serving their customers. Their enthusiasm for what they do was contagious, and it made my visit all the more enjoyable.
The cleanliness and hygiene of the stand were also noteworthy. Everything was spotless, and I felt comfortable knowing that the food preparation area was well-maintained and adhered to high standards of cleanliness.
Overall, my experience at this hot dog stand was exceptional. It's clear that the owners and staff take pride in delivering a top-notch dining experience, and I left with a smile on my face and a satisfied stomach. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious hot dogs. If you're in the mood for a tasty and satisfying meal, do yourself a favor and stop by this hot dog stand – you won't be...
Read moreThis was my first time ever trying this hotdog stand. Luckily one guy from our group that late night knew him. The owner recognized him and made some incredible tasty hotdogs.
Here’s the thing people. Be nice. Be kind. This guy has been working the Granville entertainment district for close to 3 DECADES! During day time lunch is crazy. Weekends clubbing are massive. Just don’t be a d-bag. Order kindly with a smile and have manners. Be patient and keep an eye out on your q. Tipping helps even more! He will make sure you’re taken care of.
This guy and his daughter works in one of the worst places with overly drunken people barfing everywhere. Homeless people begging him for food and change. Don’t forget the cars parking next to him idling breathing in fumes. Be respectful with positive energy. All he needs is a greet with a warm smile, please, and thank you. 🙏
Buddy in our group bought us hotdogs at 2:15am on a Saturday night. I can’t believe how...
Read moreWe all know that it’s a dog eat dog world ! I cannot imagine what it must be like working here at night when the bars are closing ! These people are right on the front lines in the trenches facing all kinds of inebriated people. The good, the bad and the ugly. Anyhow, I digress. The other day I dropped by this family run stand for their cheaper hotdog special and the owner treated me with 3 dogs in the bun (Instead of the normal 2 ) and gave me fried onions and cheese at no extra charge. Lots of other toppings as well. All with a smile. It must be a tough gig, working to make a living on one of Vancouver’s busiest intersections. There are a couple of nooks in the wall of the London Drugs building that you can have a seat (or the bus stop or across the street behind the sky train entrance). Thank you Sir for your kindness. I...
