I will write an honest and long review about my experience with Kam again, because appareantly they deleted the previous one. I hope it helps for some people who don't want to waste their money. I've been dealing with acne for a long time, but due to stress and changing continents, my acne left scars, and most of them happened last summer. I searched for a laser spa, and this place showed up on Google. I was tricked by reviews and decided to go. First of all, Kam is not a beauty esthetician or skincare specialist. She is just a laser technician who owns one laser machine and does her treatments in one of the rooms of her home. There is no other worker; it's not a clinic where you can easily walk in or find someone who takes responsibility if you have any complications. When I went for a consultation, I had a gut feeling that I shouldn't do this here, but I really wanted to have results and didn't want to waste time. She told me for the first treatment it would be $260 because she would do scar and active acne treatment. After one session, it would be $150. I accepted. So after my consultation with her, I waited two weeks after stopping tretinoin and went to have my first treatment. She kept it so short, didn't even put the laser on my forehead, where I had some small dark spots. And she said even one session is enough, my scars will be gone, and maybe I might need a second one to be sure. I was so happy, but when I was up to pay, she asked me how much she told me to pay (apparently, she says to everyone different prices, can't even remember). I said $260, but she said it's $360 because she did two types of treatment, which she already told me before at the consultation. Changing the price after treatment is very unprofessional and unethcal. If you look up previous reviews, she did this others too. After 20 days, nothing has changed on my face; I was disappointed. I texted her and sent the pictures. Of course, she didn't answer, and I called her; then she said on the phone I can come, and she will do the treatment again, I don't need to pay anything, she will compensate it to the price I paid. I went after a week; she spent a lot of time on my face, unlike the other time; she even put the laser on my forehead and neck. After that, she chatted with me and behaved really friendly; she even told me you can send your pictures every day, we see the healing process together, etc., and waited for me to pay, and I thought she will charge me something symbolic because she said I didn't need to pay anything, but she said she did a discount, and this time it's $260 to me!!! the same price she told me at the very beginning!! I didn't discuss; I thought this time it will really work. She said my face will peel, and scars will be gone. What happened? Nothing. I have a very light, small sun spot which is not obvious unless you look up close, even it didn't disappear. I sent a picture of my face after 20 days again; I texted her how much I'm disappointed and frustrated. I spent almost $650 for nothing; my face didn't even peel. I told at least this time she needs to do something for compensation. When I searched for Fotona laser before and after videos, they were completely different from what I had. And of course, she didn't answer again; I texted again and called; she didn't answer. Apparently, this is her style; if someone has a bad experience, she will just disappear. I waited for her to get back to me before I wrote this review. I didn't write a bad review immediately; this is a result of 2 months of 2 treatment experiences. After this, I searched a lot, and I found amazing clinics led by professionals and doctors, and the prices are more or less the same as her place. At least I'm lucky that my face didn't get worse, which could happen. It takes me 20mins driving from my office and arrived at the clinic 2mins early and I knock the door several times and no one respond to me until after a while, a lady showed up and yelling at me 'you should never do that again for keeping knocking the door !' I m angry yet apologized to the lady 'i m sorry I wasn't aware it is that annoying' because I think there should have a receptionist to wait for customers' , and then she told me I m not deserved to be treated and then shut me out of the clinic ?! This place is nothing like a clinic, she does not like a professional therapist neither, she has the worst attitude i have ever met. I made a mistake indeed and made a polite apology, yet the way she treated me not only as a customer but also ordinary people is disrespectful and humiliated. It started with her fixing my spider veins and then moved on to skin contouring/remodelling and having my naso-labial folds done . Most recently Kam has gotten me started on her go-to skin care line, Forlled, and it has changed my life. Kams holistic approach is what makes her truly stand out. I mean like really stand out. To the point where there is a glaring chasm between her service/approach and everyone else's. Her openness to sharing her knowledge and CARING enough to tell me, and others like me, when we need something but also when we don’t, is so unique and so appreciated. I have wasted years and $$$$$ on products, fillers, botox, supplements and a whole host of other things recommended by people looking to turn a profit. There was never any education involved and any information that was provided was sub-par and not in-depth. No one ever said “babe wait on buying that until you first do this, this and this because you will not get the most out of your money now”.
