Absolutely Fabulous Urban Spa — Local services in Vancouver

Update: Owner personally clarified the situation around the location changes and confusion, when we met in person at the new clinic. I appreciate this.

Unfortunately, not the best experience here. A little bit unprofessional in my opinion. The communication has not been the greatest and it has been difficult to get a hold of the clinic. I would also never receive appointment reminders. I never received receipts for the second package I purchased from them, despite being told I would. This unfortunately, has led to some confusion as to how many sessions I have left in my package. The communication overall is not the most profession or customer service-oriented in my opinion.

I had to reschedule an appointment, so I notified them ahead of time, left a voicemail to ask them to call me back to reschedule for another time, and emailed them too. I never got responses. I even went in person to try to reschedule as I was passing by their studio and saw that their studio was empty and no one was there.

Then when I finally got a hold of them on the phone, I was notified that the studio had moved locations! This was never communicated to me at all as a client beforehand (e.g. via email) and I only found out when I got a hold of them. I chose to go with them partially because they were downtown and very convenient. I would not have renewed my treatment package if I knew this was the case as the new location is not very convenient and will take some time to commute to.

Poor and unprofessional customer service. First time customer and I was looking to book my first appointment for laser hair removal. I filled out the form on their website which indicates that someone will reach out to me. I waited for a week, no one contacted me. I then had to call them 3 times and went to voicemail 3 times, then finally someone called me back. I get that maybe they were busy. Then during the phone call they told me that they would need to review their schedule and would call me back the next day to confirm the date and time of the appointment. Three days have passed and no one called me back. I don’t care and don’t even know how good their services are or if the google reviews here are legit but it’s just so stressful just to make a first appointment. Love this place! My fiance treated us to a couples massage. This is our second time and both times the service was fantastic. Professional, very clean, courteous and friendly staff. My fiance had some discomfort in his lower back before going in and felt way better after his massage. I was impressed the young lady was able to work his back and loosen him up. My massager was Bruce. He was amazing the first time and was thrilled to have had him the second time. He really loosen up all my tense areas and knew just were to target. We had to reschedule our appointment a few times due to work and family circumstances and they were very understanding and accommodating. Parking lot is near by for those that drive. This spa is worth the drive as we come all the way from Port Coquitlam. Highly recommend this Spa. You wont be...
