Sunglass Hut — Local services in Vaughan

I had a generally good experience at Sunglass Hut — there were 4 or 5 consultants working at the time. One of them, who seemed to be the lead (since others kept asking her questions), was extremely unfriendly toward me.

She wore a head covering, so I assume she may be religious, but regardless of that, her attitude was very unkind. I can’t say she insulted me directly, but her body language and facial expression were cold and made me feel very unwelcome.

When another consultant told me to ask her a question, I turned to her — and she looked at me like she wanted me to leave. The moment she noticed I saw her, she quickly put on a fake smile and said, “Yes, how can I help you?” I just replied, “Nothing, it’s okay.”

All the other consultants were very polite and friendly — everyone except her. She acted like she owned the store, and honestly, I’m sure the actual owner would never treat a customer this way.

I bought nice pair of Rayban sunglasses on June 18 from Vaughan Mills-Sunglass hut. 2 employees were working and one of them whos name is Simran seemed very unwelcoming to customers, no smile, zero customer service. 2 ladies in front of me also brought the same complaint that she doesnt even smile once and her presence is so unwelcoming. Customers go and before they buy anything they deserve a welcoming enviornment and smiling face. Customer can go to any store to buy what they want so employee is not doing any favor by cashing you out and calling "NEXT IN LINE". Atleast ask, "hows your day so far, or did someone help you finding what you were looking for today". But the other girl who was working beside her was really nice and smiling throughout with positive attitude. C'mon your interaction with a customer is less than 2 mins and you can make a great impact for someone to come back to your store for your service. Anyways. Im glad not everyone is like...
