1️⃣ Bread Basket The grissini are long, light, and crispy, bursting with floury aroma. The baguette is delightful after dipping in balsamic vinegar.
2️⃣ Italian Lorenzini Melon served with Signature San Daniele Ham DOK The Lorenzini melon is soft, juicy, and incredibly sweet. The San Daniele ham is tender, with a high fat content that melts in your mouth, leaving a truly satisfying aftertaste.
3️⃣ Tuna Tartare with Avocado, Ginger, and Chives, Truffle Caviar The avocado is fresh, and the minced tuna is mixed with ginger puree and sprinkled with chives. However, the flavor is on the bland side, and the tuna contains some white connective tissue. The menu mentioned truffle caviar, but it was missing from the dish.
4️⃣ Gragnano IGP Pennoni with Chickpeas, Prawns, and Fennel Pollen The dish would be better if the prawns were cut into larger pieces instead of tiny, nail-sized bits. It includes sliced mushrooms and zucchini, but overall, it’s just an average dish.
5️⃣ Pizza "Carbonara" with Smoked Scamorza, Duck Eggs, and Crispy Bacon The pizza has a thin, crispy, chewy base, but the dough is unevenly spread. The scamorza cheese is semi-soft with a fantastic smoky flavor, slightly salty and milky. It’s evenly distributed, keeping the white-based pizza from feeling dry. The bacon crumbles are crunchy and add a savory touch. However, the speck is too intense, and with the large amount of olive oil drizzled on top, the oiliness and saltiness are overwhelming.
6️⃣ Tiramisu The chocolate flan with ice cream was sold out, so it was replaced with tiramisu. The cocoa powder is sprinkled just before serving, preventing it from absorbing moisture and clumping together.
7️⃣ Patio's Selection of Artisanal Ice Cream and Sorbet The sesame flavor stands out with its rich, nutty, toasty aroma.

Nothing fancy, but good value and a great spot to sit and chat with friends...
Read moreWe recently dined at DiVino Patio at the Causeway Centre in Wanchai. This is a good venue for Italian in this area of the city. Opening hours are 12pm to 12am daily.
You can make reservations on their website or through Chope or just try walk-in. There is a fair sized indoor and outdoor dining area, so you'll likely be seated quickly without booking in advance. Seating areas are casual but tasteful, accessible for families, friends, couples and those coming out conferences at HKCEC.
We dined here recently to try their white truffle seasonal menu. We tried the traditional egg tagliatelle which was served with a light cream sauce and around 4 oz. of Alba white truffles which were shaved at the table before being added to the dish. The pasta on its own tasted good, the truffle aroma strong and taste mild. Overall, this was a fair truffle dish and something fun to try this time of year.
We also ordered their signature Pappardelle from their normal menu. The sausage ragout was mild and tasted nice. Topped with fresh parmesan, this was a good pasta dish. Portion size was fair. Cocktails and wine served with dinner were just fine.
Overall, DiVino isn't our favourite place for Italian dining in Hong Kong but its a good sized venue, very well located near HKCEC. Menu is wide enough to include something most diners will be interested in...
Read moreCame in here with a few friends for dinner and was served up exactly what I expected; an average experience from a restaurant located in Brim28. They were full that night and were severely understaffed; I had to politely wave down the wait staff three times before we were able to get water for our table. Food took a while; but understandable because they were busy. I had only wished they would have informed us of the wait beforehand, instead of us having to wait at our table indefinitely. When the food did arrive, it was a mixed bag; the pastas were great, calamari and shrimp were also tasty. But the steaks and the calzone were a bit of a let down. The beef was grilled well, but was pretty devoid of any beef flavor. The calzone was absolutely massive; the tomato sauce they paired with it was amazing, surprisingly well seasoned. But the calzone itself was too bready and the filling of cheese and ham were sparse throughout the interior. Food was a bit of a hit or a miss, but they did have dishes that were great. I'd definitely recommend coming on a weeknight when...
