Apple Nanjing East Road Flagship Shop — Local services in Shanghai

As a long-time Apple user (iPhone since 2013, upgrading yearly, and a collector of every model ), I was excited to purchase the Series 10 Titanium Apple Watch in Shanghai during my vacation. Despite using Apple Pay successfully throughout the city, the Apple Store refused my transaction due to my card's country of origin. This was so weird , especially given the seamless Apple Pay experience I had everywhere else. It felt like a missed opportunity to complete my perfect Apple experience. I hope this policy is reviewed, as it contrasts sharply with the convenience Apple Pay offers elsewhere.

Buying the iPhone 15 pro max here I was misinformed by the employees that my phone was duel sim through 1 sim tray and eSIM. Found out later that Chinese iPhones are not able to use eSIM. I was also not informed that FaceTime audio and group calls are not enabled on my phone because it’s a Chinese version.
