Ji Hotel Shanghai the Bund Jiujiang Rd Hotel-Restaurant — Restaurant in Shanghai

Stayed in this hotel for five days and really appreciate the great location. The staff are efficient and helpful. However, if you stay here, there is only one lift, which is typical if you choose to stay in a heritage building around the area.

There is no lift to the fourth floor, which means you have to walk up a short flight upstairs to get to your room. The breakfast is simple, but has the variety of Western and Chinese food available. They offer free Chinese tea and water in every room.

The room is clean and the amenities are quite good. However, as it is next to the street there is always noise and the walls are not soundproof, so you can hear your neighbour and people along the corridor.

There are plenty of restaurants around the area, and it is within walking distance to the Bund and pedestrian street. There are plenty of guests so be prepared to wait for the lift or walk down the flights of stairs.

Overall, the decor is stylish and simple and the location is the primary reason why you would want...

Our experience was great! Super Strategic Location, near Nanjing Lu, 11mins walking to the Bund, 15mins to Peoples park, accross there is Hongyi Plaza where offers a lot of yummy food. In front of the hotel Herund Bakery, yummy breads!!! Breakfast is tasteless (better buy from outside) Tatami room was small! My parents stayed in western room and this was spacious FREE LAUNDRY and DRYER include the detergents! 🌟🌟🌟

The Ji Hotel is an excellent choice due to its central location, making it convenient for getting around the city. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms are generally quite small, which may be a consideration for some guests. Additionally, housekeeping service could be more attentive, as the cleaning staff repeatedly forgot to replace the tissue roll despite the room being serviced for (2) two consecutive nights.
