My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at this restaurant on our very first evening in Shanghai on 16 August 2025. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for our culinary adventure and heightening our anticipation for the exquisite dishes to come.

Ordered the Stir-fried Supreme Shark’s Fin with Crab Meat, an exceptional mouthwatering dish with exquisite flavors on every bite which offered a rich, savory experience that truly set it apart as a standout culinary delight.

The Smoked Pomfret is perfectly smoked to achieve an optimal flavour profile, featuring golden-bronze sweet and crispy skin with a subtle sheen of oil that ensures balanced richness.

Braised Rice with Crab Roe is another irresistible delicacy for crab lovers, elevating the dining experience with its sumptuous blend of flavors and velvety texture. A culinary highlight of the restaurant's exclusive crab-focused menu with rich savory and creamy taste.

Signature Crab offers an intoxicating briny and sweet aroma with a golden-orange roe that glistens like molten amber, promising indulgence with every bite.

Crabmeat Xiaolongpao (dumplings), excellent dumplings with succulent crab meat bathed in rich and savory broth delivered an explosion of umami with every bite. We didn't order the mixed Crab & Pork meat Xiaolongpao here. We were wrapping up our vacation in Shanghai and met up with some friends to catch up on the last night of our stay.

The service there was impeccable and the wait staff was professional and attentive. The atmosphere there brings one back to the hey days of Old Shanghai with the classic deco and furniture.

Food was amazing and we ordered the set meal to make things easy and it was a fantastic choice! This restaurant specializes in hairy crabs and all their dishes are all related and every single one of the dishes absolutely delicious

Prices are on the high end but I think worth every single cent.

The one Michelin star is definitely well deserved. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit the next time you are in...

Came during the hairy crab season in Oct. Certainly worthy of their one Michelin star with the excellently executed dishes (the crab roe mixed rice which got them the Michelin had such a intense crab flavour, the broth in the crab xiaolongbao was infused with crabby goodness, the steamed egg with crab was so smooth). Staff were attentive as well, explained the differences between males and females and different price points.
