Horseback Riding Manuel Antonio — Local services in Quepos

This was 25 minutes to London, CR. Homebase was a beautiful soda, where we were given a traditional CR breakfast - SO GOOD. We were then broken into families and each group had their own guide and went in different directions so it was just us. Great, gentle horses, wide trails (no nose to tail riding here). We "parked" the horses and walked down and played in a terrific waterfall. Our guide even took us somewhere different that usual because we had young kids and it was more appropriate/safer for them. Then more riding, as fast or slow as you want, my 8 year old and I cantered a bit). I was able to comfortably ride double saddle with my 3 year old (the saddle actually had 2 seats instead of most that just put you both on one). Jessy was a wonderful tour guide! He made everyone in our group feel comfortable on their horses and coached us along the way. No one ever felt left behind, he was by our side the whole day. He was showing us the different plants and animals all around that we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. The breakfast was really delicious and authentic to the costa rican culture! It was nice to have breakfast before we started our horseback riding! They picked us up promptly from the hotel as well and dropped us off. We even had lunch afterwards, which was not expected, and it was just as delicious! We have the chance to go into a waterfall and it was beautiful. A leisurely 45 min ride to the falls then 45 back again. Not quite the full days riding that’s advertised. My horse’s mane was thick with tics which I was told was “normal”. Only after paying the deposit were we informed that tax was due on top of the advertised price. Overall pretty disappointing experience. There are better horse riding tours available in Costa Rica

In response to the Owner :- I said in my comment above that I was only informed of the tax "after" I had paid the deposit. Nowhere on the website where I made the booking are you told that the price will be anything but the $75 advertised. If this is the way you want to run your business then fair enough, but don't get upset with me when I point out to others exactly how you...
