BongO — Hotel in Quepos

Adrian brings such a positive energy and drive to this hotel. You really pick up on it straight away. He running a good ship and the staff are clued up. Venus was very friendly, approachable and helpful as well. I liked my room, good bed, nice decor, the air con must be brand new it did the job for sure. The shower was really powerful. If you’re here for nature then it’s all around you staying here. I couldn’t get tickets for the park but Adrian managed to get me onto a tour. I recommend you get a tour guide I saw much more I face I wouldn’t have seen anything with the guide it was $60 including the ticket. Having said that you will see monkeys iguanas, birds daily at the hotel (they should have hakuna matata playing on repeat). Loved the pool, decent size and managed to top my British lobster tan on the loungers. Breakfast is pretty good. It’s smack bang in the middle of Quepos and Manuel Antonio (this part of the world is very hilly FYI). There’s buses and taxis are east to grab too. I had a great experience here. Bongo was a great place to stay in Quepos/ Manuel Antonio. It was a good place for the price. We had a car so getting into the city and beaches was our goal. Meeting Emilio and Ian was a delight. They made us feel welcome to Bongo. The space we booked was great but the AC wasn't working. Immediately Emilio relocated us to a better unit while they fix the AC. The breakfast there was incredible options between Eggs and Toast or Waffles paired with fruits. The lady there cooking had some magic cooking skills, the eggs turned out amazing and we wanted seconds. Bongo's is close to a private beach and close to Quepos which was nice to see at least 1 day in the area. Parking space is available and truly feels like a private resort. I recommend you staying in Bongo for an affordable price and a great time! Emilio, Ian and the staff there are amazing there.

Situated in Really good and quiet location, halfway between the park and Quepos Pueblo but close to both, right in the perfect place: close enough to Reach both on your feet but away from the noise of Quepos just enough to remain quiet and to feel in the middle of the nature. Tons of birds will visit the trees above the rooms as well as families of monkeys and parrots.|The structure itself is going some renovation works but the rooms are really nice,modern two rooms masonry bungalows, perfectly clean and all already renovated, they are modern and new inside with comfortable and large beds and spacious clean bathrooms with everything you need and very new a/c.|The WiFi was also really good, but the best thing of all was to be in modern comfortable Rooms but at the same time being in the middle of trees full of life.|We had a wonderful stay, the owner is also really accomodating and will do everything he can to make your stay the...
