I personally suggest you to take a smaller boat as you can get a better experience wit that. It might just cost you 50-70 Egyptian pounds for one hour boat ride on the Nile. It is advisable to take the boat ride early in the morning or at the evening to avoid the heat of the sun during the day time. Plus, the sunset during the evening is a breathtaking view from the boat on the Nile. The boatmen are very friendly but you might need to tip them 20 or more Egyptian Pounds based on your overall experience.

What a beautiful trip down the Nile. Thanks to our tour guide, we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of Nile River. We were dancing Egyptian music, seeing the sunset at the heart of ancient civilization. The experience was great. If you have time, should consider the tour in your visit to Egypt.

Como fizemos à noite, vimos as luzes da cidade emitidas pelos altos hotéis, as festas à bordo de barcos e meninos dançando Mahraganat enquanto o barco segue. Esse é um passeio pitoresco, sem turistas, mas que os locais curtem. Outra forma de apreciar o rio é buscar um bar com terraço na Ilha de Zamalek. A vista é estonteante!

As mentioned on other reviews - they inflate the prices and don’t honour their agreement. They will also offer you drinks and then ask you to pay for it at 200%! I booked for an hours boat ride but didn’t trust them so I said I will pay after the ride.

Lo and behold the guy came back within half an hour. I asked him if that was an hour and he replied yes. I asked him again was it a full hour, again he replied yes. Other than haggling to agree on a price which is a common practice in Egypt, it was a great time. We rented the entire boat for a full hour. It was much cheaper than paying at least $25 per person for one hour ride online. You just have to go to Nile Boat Trip station by Taxi or Uber which is...
