I have to give 1 star for such a bad and uncomfortable moment that I think the owner made to us. (I think is the owner because she was just walking around)
We were waiting for our food, and a lady started to welcoming us to Egypt, she was very kind, polite and welcoming that gave us to try a bit of a Egyptian dessert.
And suddenly this woman approached us, speaking in Arabic, not a hello not NOTHING. I reply in English because we don’t speak Arabic and she just ignored us, this woman was SO RUDE to the lady next to us, just because she gave us a bit of her food doesn’t make any sense, and then she just left, without saying a sorry or nothing.
If you are the owner, and you behave like this, let me tell you that you don’t know anything about business, because first you should learn education and manners towards people and even more towards your costumers because were not there asking for free food, we were supporting your business. This was absolutely uncomfortable and senseless because we did nothing bad and not even a sorry or even to EXPLAIN the situation because was very uncomfortable to don’t understand what was going on.
Now about the food, was very good and the waiters and the guy of the shisha were funny and attentive. Lovely people. The owner should learn...
Read moreTonight I had dinner at this restaurant. I ordered Baba Ganoush for 35 EGP, an Avocado juice with nuts for 180 EGP, and Cheese samosas for 80 EGP. My total bill should have been 295 EGP, plus 12% service charge, making it around 330 EGP in total.
However, they charged me 564 EGP without giving me any bill or receipt. When I left the restaurant and checked the menu again, I realized something was wrong and went back. To my surprise, they questioned whether I was sure about the amount I paid , even though I had paid by card and could show the transaction. After a long argument, they finally returned the extra money.
The staff were very rude and unprofessional. When I ordered an avocado juice, one of them kept insisting I should try mango instead, ignoring my request completely. They don’t respect customer's choices and behave inappropriately.
Also, the vegetarian options are very limited, and this place is not suitable for...
Read moreThe restaurant has nice decor. It's lovely. The view of the tower is beautiful. We wanted to order a shake until our number is called for the Cairo Tower. We were seated then ordered an oreo shake. Another waiter came and asked for our order again. After some time, the oreo shake arrived. It was soupy, like the ice cream was never frozen in the first place. It cost 145. I paid 200. I received 50 in change. The cashier decided to keep the 5. I explained to the waiter, and he want back to the cashier, whose body reaction told me he knew it was short. The waiter glanced over at then fumbled in his pocketw. After a few moments of watching them showing no indication that I'm getting my money, I left. If you don't have any change, then ask around for change, or let me know, but you don't get to keep it. That's stealing. Lesson learned. I don't recommend this place. It's sad because the decor and the view are...
